Fantastic food, price and staff.

A seafood place where the oysters were incredible, but they also did a 60 day dry aged steak, and they executed it perfectly.

The food was excellent, exceptionally tasty and reasonably priced for the quality and choice. Our waiter Stephen provided a brilliant service. In all we had a lovely dining experience here.

Can't recommend Mad Monk enough; it was in the top three best meals we had during our 9 day trip to Ireland! Their seafood chowder was incredible, and their seafood entrees did not disappoint. The star of the meal was the sticky toffee pudding with salted caramel ice cream; it was to die for! The apple crumble was delicious as well. It's beautifully decorated but the restaurant was very warm throughout the duration of our meal. A wonderful spot to check out if visiting Killarney!

Great seafood place! Service was very good and quick. The food was also good. My squid was a very good sized meal and done nicely. The prawns were good. Also had the oysters which were fresh and tasty.

Excellent restaurant! I've never had such good fish soup! And our fish dishes were excellent. A beautiful and delicate harmony of flavors! I highly recommend it!

Absolutely fantastic food - every dish we had was exceptional, but I’d put the scallops starter in my personal top three of scallop-based dishes I’ve ever had: to die for. Murphy’s on tap as well which was the cherry on top for me.

Excellent value for money fresh seafood dishes, generous portion sizes, very nice staff. This is not just another generic sefood resturant doing the usual stuff, it is a proper seafood outlet. Toilets and entire place very clean. Wheelchair access maybe difficult, but they would no doubt try their best as they did with everything on our visit. BOOK AHEAD, it is very popular, so get a table reserved.

I ate very well, but what I especially want to highlight are the workers! Super friendly, they also helped me with any questions I had about the city and they welcomed me incredibly well. Go there!!!
