Casita Mexicana in Killarney

For people who seek halal friendly restaurant the chicken here is halal. The staff are welcoming and they also recommend other halal options like seafood and vegetarian. I request my meal to be mild since I'm sensitive to chilli food and they accepte my request. Even when it's mild I enjoyed my meal. Plus the portion was fulfilling.

Indian food pretending to be Mexican by adding a tortilla. It was good, but calling it Mexican is comical. Even the “salsa” wasn’t tomato based. Nice staff and decent drinks. A meal we will remember and chuckle about for some time.

Passing through Killarney, a lovely discovery in the evening. Pleasant service. The chicken and chorizo ​​fajitas are very good.

We visited the restaurant on Tuesday this week and were served by two waiters, Bartec and Saban. They were excellent, very welcoming, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. They made us feel well looked after and provided outstanding service. The food was also really great, making it an all-around enjoyable experience. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to visiting again.

Drinks and food were great! Lots of options to accommodate vegans and gluten free folks. Staff was very friendly. We had a nice dinner here. It was busy so would probably recommend to others to have a reservation but we were able to walk in as a table for two on a summer Saturday night

While it's a far cry from anything you'll find in any "authentic" spot in Mexico or surrounding countries, it IS good food! The flavor profile reminded me more of North African or even Indian food, fused with European presentation and preparation styles, meet the rough idea of Mexican cuisine. It was pretty good all things considered! If only good guacamole was easier to find in Ireland 😭
