Buckley's in Killarney

Nice clean roomy. Friendly atmosphere. Right next pubs and some shopping.

Wonderful staff, extremely helpful and friendly. That includes at reception, in the restaurant, at breakfast -- everyone. Beautiful, ornate ground floor with period decorations and objects to look at. Tasty dinner in the restaurant, and live music every night. But the room itself needed work. The heating was loud (it had an overhead unit with noisy vents), and one of the lights was broken. The shower was developing mold.

Loved the location and proximity to the train station, town center, and Ross Castle. Emer was the best! Her professionalism, joy and laughter, and key valet efficiency was refreshing! Emer gave the best dining recommendations, that were much appreciated. Thank you!

Stayed for one night before my wedding. The staff, especially Michelle, were very accommodating and friendly. They were able to accommodate my request for a quiet room in short notice. The Buckley Bar staff were amazing also. Thank you for a nice stay!

Didn't actually make it inside, but looked like a really nice pub.

Price / performance ratio good !!

We loved our entire experience - from the staff, to the spacious room, to the antique decor and rich history. We also loved the luxury of having the pub attached that had excellent trad music. The breakfast was also delicious and had vegetarian sausages option! The hotel name comes from a rare native tree, it really inspires an authentic Irish experience. Highly recommend this hotel!
