Murphy Brownes in Killarney

This was our celebratory meal after completing the Kerry Way. It was delicious!

The steak was cooked well and fresh and the sea bass was delicious in a very tasty buttery sauce.

Nice decoration and interior, delicious food, the service was very nice and quick, the noise is moderate. Nice place to eat dinner !

The starters were to die for. Honestly got a bit emotional from how good they were. We got the goat cheese tartlette and the pil pil shrimp, HIGHLY recommended.

Beautiful food and friendly staff. Best prawns pil pil, seabass and battered fish around. Just perfect.

The food was excellent, with plenty of variety in the menu. The service was attentive, but not overbearing. It was great to sit down to eat and be able to have a conversation without having to shout over loud music or other noisy patrons.

This small restaurant had good Irish comfort food and great drinks. The service was a little slow. The atmosphere charming.

Came here on the first night of our trip to Ireland and although we were a little early for our reservation, we were seated immediately. We started with the hummus, which was quite tasty, and I had the lamb shank, which was fantastic and hearty…just the kind of cozy dinner I was really wanting after a long travel day. Service was fast and location was convenient, right in the heart of Killarney.

We ate here on a wet, drizzly day in June. There are many restaurants on this street and it was busy everywhere. On Friday evenings, the Irish and tourists go out. We were able to get a table and ordered pan-fried fish with vegetables and mashed potatoes, and fish and chips. It was decent; not bad, but not outstanding either.

We had a very small table by the passageway to the kitchen, which was quite uncomfortable. The cellar felt very hectic, and no one asked us if we wanted another drink while we were there; instead, they brought us the check after we declined dessert. The food was good, but the atmosphere was mediocre.
