Kitty O’Se’s in Killarney

This restaurant was amazing! The staff were so courteous and friendly. The food was phenomenal! Best lobster I have ever had in my life! Highly recommend!

Had a great seafood meal with quick service and reasonable prices.

The food was very good, but we didn't like the atmosphere at all. During the meal, the waitresses sorted the cutlery into the drawers and threw them in, which was extremely loud so that it was hardly possible to have a conversation. When we finished eating, they started sweeping the restaurant even though it was still 45 minutes until opening time. You were sort of swept out after your meal. I'm willing to pay money for good food, but I would also like to eat in peace. For this reason we wouldn't go there again.

Fabulous food (mostly seafood) made with great chef’s spirits! clean style both in terms of equipment and food and also in the atmosphere. wonderful presentation, fantastic flavors, big portions. The service is almost excessively kind, although the difference in treatment between locals and tourists is clearly visible. this is understandable, but what I liked the most was that what I couldn't eat (because it was such a big portion) was packaged for me with new side dishes so nicely that it was a pleasure to have it again at home. It's a little expensive but worth it. Thank you very much, we will be back

Our favorite restaurant in Ireland & England thus far. This is the only seafood restaurant to visit. We stopped in for a quick bite when we arrived to Killarney. The seafood chowder was the best we've ever had so we booked a dinner. The mussels were incredible, coated in the best sauce. Amazing fresh oysters, perfect seafood tagliatelle, and the one of the most perfect dishes I've tasted was the Coquilles St Jacques (scallops in mornay sauce). The rhubarb crumble with Custard was sinfully delicious. Service was excellent, everyone is extremely attentive. This is a must visit place to eat.

Went here based on the ratings for their fish n chips. Huge disappointment. The fish had no flavor, pieces were super thick with batter that just didn’t do much for me and the fries tasted like they were fried in old oil. The waitress was very attentive and did notice we barely ate any of the food when she came to remove our plates, and did ask if we’d like to speak with a manager and we stated no, but she sent him over regardless. We were just very honest with him, which he seemed to appreciate. He did mention he was treating us to the cheesecake we ordered as dessert due to our not so great food experience but to be honest again, horrible rendition of cheesecake. Didn’t taste like it was made with real cream cheese, more like marscapone or something. We didn’t say anything about the dessert as we felt bad already about the fish and our honesty. Just way too disappointed as our last night in Killarney and we had hoped to end it with a delicious dinner. Oh and they charged us .50 cents for still water!!!

I won't ever frequent this joint.Taking in 'de match' up the hill after coming from Tralee and before heading to Dublin on the qtr to 4 train. Have a couple of heavy bags with me and a nice Kerry girl at a much more obliging place down the street agreed to mind them for me for a few hours and free of charge at that. However, I asked at O'Sheas first, and the big lug there who was messing around with Kerry flags didn't want to know. He says 'if I did it for you,I'd have to do it for everyone.' That's not true for a start-nobody said anything about 'having' to do anything.And would it be so terrible to oblige everyone? He had a foreign accent (French?) and BTW, I'm fine with diversity.He informed me he had been here for 20 years.Well,he certainly hasn't learnt 'the Kerry way, i.e., being helpful and bear in mind he works in hospitality! A real ' jobs worth' type.

Very nice service, delicious steaks, I highly recommend it!!!!
