Bricin in Killarney

Fantastic meal, wonderful ambiance, and Johnny (the owner) is a national treasure, far as I'm concerned. My first time having boxty and it was delicious!

The food was absolutely amazing! From a roasted duck that put all other duck dishes I have had to shame, scallops so fresh and pillowy I was certain they had a box in the ocean pulling them out as we ordered, and a nutroast that was so tangy and well prepared it was to die for, I will definitely be vacationing back here again. Everything we had was the absolute best version I could have asked for. Shirley, our waitress was so kind and informative, she made the whole experience that much better!

Bricín (Brih-keen) has a wonderful atmosphere in the restaurant. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, you feel like you're at home inside. The food was lovely and if you've never had soda bread before, here is a great place to try it!

Was going through some old things, found a signed cookbook that my husband and I were given by the owners of this restaurant back in 2014 when we visited on our honeymoon. We were just a couple of kids and didn’t have reservations, but we were treated like royalty. I don’t remember what we ate, but I do remember it was the best food we had in Ireland!

The braised venison special was incredible. The staff were very friendly
