27/03/2024: We were overnighting in Tralee and did a Google search for Best Asian Restaurant in Tralee. Tamarind was selected as #1. Upon reading a selection of the reviews we were happy to proceed with the majority and were not disappointed. The Restaurant is very clean and Asian Themed. The service was Top Class. The Owner/ Chef and her daughter Kathleen could not have made us more welcome, they were so hospitable and we thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes we ordered to the point we could not finish them. We wish them continued success.

20/03/2024: Delicious food for affordable prices. My friend and I love to order the Gai Pad Prik or roast duck in any form. The aromatic duck wrap and Thai fishcakes are great appetisers. We decided to try the dine in experience and it did not disappoint! Our server was so nice and the chef was lovely. She even came out in person to ask about our meal. I ended up ordering boba tea to go and I’ll be back for the sushi rolls. We had a yummy cheesecake with side of ice cream. 10/10 dining for lunch or dinner

25/02/2024: Out of the 6 or 7 Chinese restaurants I have tried this is the best. Once they start to see you are becoming a regular customer. The odd extra or big bottle of coke every now and then in the bag. That's what I call a good business head.

09/12/2023: I decided to pop in the last night to buy a bag of spicy chips. They charged €4.80 which i thought was a bit steep considering regular chips are €3. The chips were just regular chips with some onion and carrot thrown in. No Spice and No Chili. Waste of Money!

15/08/2023: Delicious! Our first time in Sunshine palace, last week. Zi was our waitress, she was so helpful. She recommended lovely dishes to us. The chicken satay skewers were to die for! The early bird menu is a great deal! Her other co worker was so kind too.

11/01/2024: Helpful when places are open late, but the blatantly fake reviews are frustrating. Take the feedback, make changes if necessary, and move on. We are visiting Dingle again soon and will absolutely avoid this place because of this.

09/03/2024: Avoid at all costs. After over one hour waiting on an order we decided to leave hungry. Many others were still there waiting for their food with no indication of when it might arrive. Honestly the strangest Chinese takeaway I have been to ever.

17/12/2023: A disaster...waited 2 hours for our order which they got wrong AGAIN ..won't see me outside the door in the rain 🌧 waiting like a fool again.

29/03/2024: I got crispy beef it was so burnt there was no beef left in it I don't no how u manage to mess up egg fried rice but they did my girlfriend got chicken ginger and spring onion and it just tasted of Oli the nicest part of all of it were the cans of coke

29/03/2024: Ordered from here for years . My ginger and spring onion chicken was nothing but full of oil . Chicken tasted rubbery . I was lucky if I got one hint of ginger . My partner got shredded sweet chilli beef it was burnt tasteless. Bad egg fried rice . Won't be ordering again 40 euro wasted. I felt insulted for the bin having to contain it.

27/03/2024: The takeaway had a sign up saying ‘consume your takeaway within 90 minutes of getting it’ which should have been a big enough red flag not to order, we however stupidly proceeded to order, and to no surprise ending up being sick all night.

11/03/2024: Curry sauce is the best i’ve tasted in years!!
