Davitt's in Kenmare

Dogs aren't allowed in the inside bar but they have a good sized beer garden at the back (accessible from the street behind) which is dog friendly. And if you're solo with dogs - as I was - you can order and pay from your table

We were absolutely thrilled! The burgers were simply amazing – juicy, fresh, and incredibly tasty. The service was also excellent: very friendly and attentive, and we immediately felt welcome. To top it all off, we had a dessert that was equally superb and perfectly rounded off our visit. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant! 😊🍔🍰

It is an absolute pleasure to stay here. Right in town, yet still quiet at night, it's a perfect spot for enjoying the town. Rooms are immaculate, breakfasts filling and delicious: there's really nothing I could dock a star for. My wife has mobility issues, and David and the staff could not have been more helpful to her. Strongly recommended!

An unexpected surprise, so glad I stayed here.

I’m about 10 months late writing this review. I can’t stop thinking about this place! Both Davitt’s and Kenmare! Both have made such a wonderful lasting impression. The location is perfect, the service was exceptional, the room was excellent, large, comfortable and affordable. The breakfast was excellent and all of Davitt’s recommendations were fabulous! I can’t wait to return and stay longer this time.

Great place in the center of Kenmare. Walking distance to everything in town. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. The only thing I would recommend is asking for a room in the back of the place when you book if you are a light sleeper. Luckily we brought a sound machine so it wasn’t too bad but it is right across the street from a pub with live music.

A gang of us 6 hiking girls, stayed in the house belonging to Davitts just outside of the centre of town and David and his lovely partner were absolutely amazing to us giving us a lift into town and offering to pick us up afterwards too, with tired feet after walking we really appreciated it. Also one of the best meals we had while doing the Kerry way was in this restaurant too and all the staff were such fun and so pleasant. We shall be back 👍🥾

We had a delightful meal here for dinner (we stayed elsewhere). Staff were friendly and informative. Save room for Dessert!

Ate dinner in the restaurant about 6:15. Not too busy. Had Nachos that were very good. The fish and chips were delicious as well. Good kids menu.

This was an Amazing visit to Davitts of Kenmare, from start to finish. We booked 4 x rooms for one night in April and it was perfect. My husband dealt with the owner David as it was a surprise for my 60th Birthday. He was so helpful and accommodating. The rooms were lush, cosy and spacious and exactly what we loved. He gave us early check-in so my adult kids could decorate our room for me with balloons & ribbons. The staff were so kind and so friendly. We ate in the bar that evening and again at breakfast the next morning and the food was superb...could not fault it. A lovely quaint bar/restaurant with everything we needed. The next morning we checked out and said our goodbyes and decided to take a wander around Kenmare but as we were about to head to our cars (about 90mins to 2 hours later) one of the staff spotted my daughter and her partner and gave her my house keys, wallet and an item of clothing that we had left in our room and had forgotten about 🙈. We would have been home before realising so again the service above and beyond was second to none. We could not recommend the Davitt enough and we cannot wait to go back.
