Davitt's in Kenmare

Ate dinner in the restaurant about 6:15. Not too busy. Had Nachos that were very good. The fish and chips were delicious as well. Good kids menu.

This was an Amazing visit to Davitts of Kenmare, from start to finish. We booked 4 x rooms for one night in April and it was perfect. My husband dealt with the owner David as it was a surprise for my 60th Birthday. He was so helpful and accommodating. The rooms were lush, cosy and spacious and exactly what we loved. He gave us early check-in so my adult kids could decorate our room for me with balloons & ribbons. The staff were so kind and so friendly. We ate in the bar that evening and again at breakfast the next morning and the food was superb...could not fault it. A lovely quaint bar/restaurant with everything we needed. The next morning we checked out and said our goodbyes and decided to take a wander around Kenmare but as we were about to head to our cars (about 90mins to 2 hours later) one of the staff spotted my daughter and her partner and gave her my house keys, wallet and an item of clothing that we had left in our room and had forgotten about 🙈. We would have been home before realising so again the service above and beyond was second to none. We could not recommend the Davitt enough and we cannot wait to go back. Please visit- you will not regret

Good B&B in a nice little town; the owner is very friendly and interested, and can tell you a lot about the area. The breakfast was extensive and tasted very good.

We didn't stay here but had dinner. Location is right in the middle of downtown Kenmare and the interior is quaint and well appointed. We had the chicken sandwich and the chickpea veggie burger. Both were fabulous! It was the best meal we've had in Ireland so far and a nice change from traditional pub food. Highly recommend!

Excellent service in the bar, restaurant and breakfast. Irish hospitality at its very best. Susanna and her team were a delight in the afternoon and evening and David was terrific over breakfast. Recommend the Eggs Benedict and the Mini Full Irish for breakfast.

Top level and deliciously Irish!

A great little hotel in the center of Kenmare. We were very impressed with our stay. Very friendly service, great atmosphere, and delicious food. We especially appreciated the option to order breakfast from a menu, including vegetarian choices. Highly recommended.

The family-run Hotel Davitt’s, with its restaurant, is centrally located on the main shopping street, with parking right outside. Everything is within walking distance, including the famous Crowley’s music pub, which is just across the street. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful, and I'm sure the restaurant is too – unfortunately, we haven't had the chance to eat there yet. The rooms are fantastic: comfortable, very clean, and quiet. We've always felt incredibly comfortable there, and I'm already looking forward to our next visit to Davitt’s Kenmare.

Absolutely a great place to stay for Kenmare and start of Ring of Kerry - service outstanding, whole place well appointed , huge breakfasts too

My partner and I stayed at Davitts for two nights recently and could not have had a more pleasant experience. The room was spotless and very spacious with a great shower! Food was excellent especially the breakfast, highly recommend the porridge! The staff were all very welcoming to us, especially David who was very friendly and we had great chats with. The location is perfect nestled right in the middle of town with plenty of options for food and bars around. Could not recommend Davitts more, we will definitely be recurring visitors.
