Davitt's in Kenmare

Absolutely a great place to stay for Kenmare and start of Ring of Kerry - service outstanding, whole place well appointed , huge breakfasts too

My partner and I stayed at Davitts for two nights recently and could not have had a more pleasant experience. The room was spotless and very spacious with a great shower! Food was excellent especially the breakfast, highly recommend the porridge! The staff were all very welcoming to us, especially David who was very friendly and we had great chats with. The location is perfect nestled right in the middle of town with plenty of options for food and bars around. Could not recommend Davitts more, we will definitely be recurring visitors.

We booked a room for one night and we wished we could have stayed longer! The room itself was good but what I want to highlight are two other aspects: First, the incredible welcoming host that made you feel right at home. Second - the delicious food. We had a small dinner at the hotels restaurant and had the best mussel dish ever. Breakfast was equally good with high quality food that was a combination of buffet and (complimentary) a la carte.

Great Sunday roast and very attentive service. The starters were so good we didn’t even get a chance to take a photo before finishing them. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Kenmare!

After traveling around Ireland for a week, Davitt’s was our unanimous favorite stay, largely due to the boundless hospitality of our host, David. We found Davitt’s to be the perfect place for a good night’s sleep and home base for exploring the Ring of Kerry. We enjoyed our conversations and helpful tips from David at breakfast, where everything we ate was delicious. Highly recommend a visit to Kenmare and particularly this B&B.

A true highlight of our Irish journey! The owner and staff are incredibly welcoming. It’s easily the most charming and friendly place we’ve discovered in Ireland so far. We felt right at home.

Really enjoyed our stay at Davitts. We have stayed there a few times and it’s consistently really great, in terms of food & accommodation. Rooms are lovely and bright and spotlessly clean. David is an amazing host who shows genuine interest in all his guests. Will definitely stay here again.
