Great local restaurant on our doorstep .Castlemaine would be lost without Griffins. Great attention from Mark , Helen and staff. They have a great chef.

Food with excessive fat is not prepared intelligently, but only to make money.

Excellent mussels! Great atmosphere, very authentic with many locals.

A spontaneous lunch stop; good, very fresh food. Nice place with a sea view.

What an absolute gem 💎 of a place, such great atmosphere, friendly staff and the location is just superb. Drinks were great, they even serve Murphys though in Kerry 😆 we enjoyed every minute, definitely will be back.

The location of Helens Bar is simply amazing. It's about 20 minutes outside Kenmare at Kilmacalogue pier. Much of the seating is actually on the pier. We phoned the day before and luckily they had a vacancy. The food was excellent, freshly cooked and very reasonably priced. The staff were very pleasant. A pint of Murphy's only 4.50😉. We paid 80 euro for B&B for 2 people. The room was small and basic, the shower ran out of water in the morning. The breakfast was freshly made and very tasty, 3 options & muesli and cornflakes. Overall a fantastic experience, we will be back 🙏
