Stopped here for a spot of lunch on a busy Saturday. Our food came quickly and was absolutely delicious. This was my first time having Irish stew and it did not disappoint!! The flavour was rich and you could tell it was good quality ingredients. Meat wasn’t too chewy and practically melted in the mouth. My partner had a burger and fries which he really enjoyed. I also loved dipping a few of his fries into my stew!! Would come again :)

Came here for drinks and music both nights we were in Doolin. Catching piper Blackie O'Connell and his group playing on a Wednesday night was a particular treat.

Fantastic pub in a great location. The staff are super friendly, the musics fantastic and the guiness incredible creamy - I even picked up a McDermotts T-Shirt there.
Great memories of my time in Doolin, Co Clare.

Delicious and thoughtfully prepared vegetarian fajitas, very tasty fish and chips with generous portions – all in all, simply a wonderful experience. As the icing on the cake, we were able to sleep in our campervan in the parking lot.

A birthday evening full of memories! The food was delicious, with Irish specialties on the menu. The IPA pint was also excellent, and we ended up sharing our table with Canadians and locals. Memorable! Thank you!

Vegetarians in Doolin - come here! Get the fajitas (and if you’re not good with spice ask them to turn it down a bit). This was the best veggie meal I had in Ireland. Thank you McDermott’s for not just offering a vegan burger and actually putting thought into this meal 🫶

Super crowded on Sunday night! We waited about 45 minutes at 8 PM to be seated, but we were still at the bar. Great live music, very welcoming atmosphere. Good food, the cottage pie with meat and potatoes is excellent, and they have a vegetarian option (good but very spicy, be warned). About €45 for two dishes, a small beer, and a soft drink.
