The best restaurants in Sneem

11/09/2026: Absolutely fantastic food. Very reasonably priced for Irish standards. The perfect ending to our Ring of Kerry tour. The burgers and fries were delicious, and the choux pastry was also very tasty. We highly recommend it. Very friendly service, authentic atmosphere.

30/08/2026: Nice local pub! Great food and service. Tip: inside and at the back of the pub you have tables outside, river view.

31/08/2026: Beautiful, cakes are okay, but the waiting room is expensive.

13/09/2026: Not a good night. Ordered a rare steak, got medium to well done. On complaining was told that ‘chef says it is rare’. Then it transpired that I had been given the wrong steak meant for another table. The waiter offered to replace it with a blue steak which I gratefully accepted. When it came it was identical to the original, medium to well done. Hence dry and without any juice. I said I would accept it, because by now my partner had finished her meal, (ribs, which in fairness was fine - hence the extra star), and I was hungry and didn’t want to spend the rest of my evening ordering a procession of steaks. Was not offered any reduction in the bill, or even a complimentary drink. All in all a disaster. Shame really, as it was clearly a decent piece of meat prior to cremation.

18/09/2026: This a great ol authentic Irish pub. Come here for an old school Irish pub experience. Lots of cool decor all over the walls. Bring your mates.

22/08/2026: Up until now, I've only met exceptionally nice and helpful people in Ireland; the waitress's rudeness was the complete opposite and on a whole other level. I left without buying anything.

06/09/2026: On holiday from England and so pleased we found this place. Excellent food, great service and a lovely atmosphere. If you come to Sneem this is where you need to eat.

31/08/2026: The food was off the scale. Salmon to die for.
