D O'Sheas in Sneem

11/05/2026: I've tried fish and chips at many different restaurants, but this was the first time I'd seen it in breadcrumbs. It was a little surprising to me to be honest, but once I tried it, I realized it was actually less oily and lighter, and more crunchy than the traditional battered fish. The homemade tartar sauce was tasty, and the price was reasonable, and the tables were clean. The service was nice as well. It’s not exactly proper fish and chips since it’s made with breadcrumbs instead of traditional batter, but it was still tasty enough for me to recommend it to someone. Thank you for making our part of the journey better.

10/05/2026: Stopped in Sneem and decided to get fish and chips, got the scampi - unbelievable! And the staff was absolutely lovely and so welcoming. This is a gorgeous little restaurant!
