17/10/2024: The reviews are slightly exaggerated; so many glowing reviews are somewhat questionable. The food was decent, but definitely not Michelin quality. We had to wait half an hour, while 2 tables were occupied, and it remained fairly empty during our stay. I don't think Suzi was there๐

The service is impeccable, the staff adorable and the food delicious with incursions of very well chosen foreign foods.

30/10/2024: A soulful brewery, we return here as to old friends. Always delicious pizza and incredible beer! Only here I tried pizza with honey and walnuts. And pizza with cherry peppers stuffed with spicy cheese? Have you tasted this?! If not, then you must come here. Hurry before the brewery closes for the winter season.

12/10/2024: A first time visit for The Ordinarypunter, and we weren't disappointed Service was exceptional. It was a joy to receive good Irish hospitality and attentive staff. Food was ok. Nothing that made me want to say wow! It was all good, and I recommend int but not exceptional. I liked it overall. A couple of points to note:
this is a genuine review from a real person. be wary of some of the reviews on TA that are just generic glowing 5 star reviews. They look pretty bogus
the portions are very large (we couldn't finish our main courses) so you might just want to share a starter or such like
12/10/2024: Not enough can be said of this gem in the Irish countryside. The service impeccable and the entrees savory treats. All in a quiet setting.

22/10/2024: By far away the best hotel we stayed at on our most recent trip to Ireland. From the moment we arrived until we departed, we were made to feel welcomed, cared for and truly at home. The gentleman who is the night manager, was exceptional and is an immense value to the hotel. Gorgeous accommodations and incredible food at every outlet. We will return.

15/10/2024: We visited the restaurant last August, eager to try the menu, but unfortunately, we didnโt have the opportunity. After waiting for 50 minutes, we decided to leave due to the treatment we received from the man managing the waiting list. His behavior was very very rude, disrespectful, and condescending, which made our experience very unpleasant. It seems from other reviews that this isnโt an isolated incident. It might be helpful for him to consider improving his approach to customer service, possibly through additional training in handling situations calmly and courteously.

06/11/2024: Very rude. They made us leave the table while we were still eating to seat other people. I finished dinner (dessert) on a small table in the entrance which was used to place the menus and orders. The food was nothing special.

Waited for ages for a table, we were forgotten about completely and lied to.
Looked like idiots waiting.
The food is good but absolutely not worth that kind of treatment.
