11/09/2025: I was in Dublin for the first time, walking about doing tourist things. I got hungry and Ryan’s pub was at hand. I didn’t Yelp or Google it beforehand because any old lunch would do. I had the chowder, which was magnificent. Being new to Ireland, I assumed all Irish chowder would be the same: wrong! A really standout meal!!!

15/03/2026: Hosted a hen party crafty workshop here recently and the venue was brilliant, Daniel was most helpful with our set up process, so attentive and positive while serving all of our customers cocktails during the activity, and he even helped us clean up after. Totally unnecessary, we really appreciate it. Will definitely consider this venue again in future.

15/03/2026: Top class selection of Irish whiskey. As good as it gets really. Some very rare casks if you know what you’re looking for. The flights are decent too. Good selection of world whiskeys on offer as well. Clean, nicely decorated and spacious.

09/04/2026: A unique pub. I was transfixed on their shelves of whiskey… or are those great walls of fire? Ask the barman to show you the historic stone wall outside behind the pub. It may have originated in the 1500s, the result of what happened after the Desmond Rebellion. In 1569, the residents of Dingle requested a "murage grant" to build walls around the town, but were unsuccessful. After the Spanish and French tried to aid the natives against the Crown, the peninsula was raided and ravaged by British forces, and Dingle was burned for a third time during this period by the Earl of Ormond. After the rebellion was crushed, Queen Elizabeth granted a royal charter to make Dingle a walled town. This allowed the town to be incorporated as a borough, the first of its kind in Kerry. The town's street layout, and some traces of the walls still remain, preserving the pattern of burgage plots. The old wall behind the pub may be a part of this.

29/05/2026: Lovely atmosphere in this classic pub with very friendly staff. Only incredibly fresh seafood is on the menu here. Had fantastic hake, and the oysters were too. Afterwards, took the ferry to Valentia Island.

It felt like the cherry on top of the cake: an incredibly friendly team of power girls and star cooks who feel like family and treat us to delightful culinary delights. The food, its quality, and the flavors are unforgettable, just like the warm kindness of everyone there. They turned our trip into unforgettable moments for which we are deeply grateful. 07/06/2026: I visited Hannigan’s on a Harley tour around Ireland with 24 other bikers. I got in touch in advance and got the booking set up. Catriona, the General Manager, was so helpful and understood exactly what we were looking for. She communicated brilliantly throughout and was always friendly and down to earth! In the evening of our meal, we were looked after by Brendan and Dave who were exceptional. I have genuinely never seen service like it anywhere in the world. They were attentive, friendly, polite and did everything they could to make sure we were all looked after. I cannot praise you all enough for our visit, we all had a great time. THANK YOU!!
