Excellent seafood restaurant. If you love fish, I recommend the cold seafood platter and the oyster platter. TOP!!!

The owners are very friendly and attentive to quality. The restaurant was excellent. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was great.

Biggest food portions I have ever seen , I got a steak here 2 weeks ago and they were not shy with the meat absolutely huge, great staff and very well priced

First experience and a memorable one

Good food. Service slow and inattentive. Missing spoons for soupy dish, napkins. Long wait for order to be taken.

Myself and a friend visited the oyster tavern on a Sunday evening on a busy weekend. We did book a table which is highly recommended. We were seated fairly quickly but the service after that was far below average. The atmosphere is alive and a good buzz. Decor is very well done also. Their was a large mix of couple, family, friends and solo customers. Their is an outdoor area which on a sunny summer day would be lovely. We were handed the menu after about 5mins of being seated but then I glanced a specials menu in the other room which was not advertised to us. Almost 30mins in and still our order was not taken. A couple beside us had been asked twice on their order since we arrived. The staff was pleasant when interacting but the wait we were about to leave. We put our orders in and food was delivered in a very reasonable time and the food certainly made up for the wait. Nice portion sizes. We were warned the main course would take 25mins but really after a starter the wait wasn't long. The main course dish we both ordered a Seafood symphony was piping hot and delicious. Asked if we would like dessert and asked for the menu. The server walked passed our table numerous times completely ignoring us without any menu and again after a further 10mins of waiting for a menu we asked for the bill.

Extraordinary place. Friendly staff, delicious seafood and good wine selection. Definitely recommend to try grilled oysters.
