What an amazing experience! I have been on a seafood chowder hunt for the past 20 years, and this was one of the best I have ever had. We ordered the lobster and the beef for our mains, and both were absolutely delicious. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and they genuinely wanted to look after us. It was an incredible dining experience. The Guinness was excellent too! Unfortunately, I did not get any photos because I was too busy enjoying the food. 😊 Highly recommended. 10 out of 10!

Jim, Aine and the crew are exceptional hosts and that is why everyone loves going to The Oyster. The scallops mornay is incredible. It has the wow factor and one of my favourite places anywhere.

Been going to this place for years. Unbelievable menu and fantastic food. It's always delivered 10/10 service, food and overall experience.

Stayed a week less than a mile from this tavern. Ended up eating and drinking there 4 or 5 times because the food, atmosphere, and staff made us all want to keep coming back. The fish and oysters were some of the best I’ve had. Everything is fresh and quality ingredients., excellent wine menu. Top notch bar and found out how good Irish coffee is. Will remember this tavern as one of the highlights of our trip, because by the time we said our goodbyes at the end of the week it was hard to leave. If we were locals we’d be there a lot!!! Delicious food and friendly professional service

Delicious food, large quanties and a friendly food server's. We started with the fish chowder which was excellent. Then shared the Dover Sole which was fresh. A couple of pints of Guinness rounded out a fun evening.

Slightly more expensive but exceptional food 😋
