What an amazing dinner we had!! The staff were so very kind and accommodating and let us come in right when they were closing ! All of our dishes were superb and the cocktails !! Fine dining quality in nice casual atmosphere !

I had the oyrsters with the mignoette sauce. It's was blasphemously good, I can see why she'll fish are in the Bible as a sin, because...god dayum!!!

We booked a table for dinner at Ashes in Dingle while on a tour of Ireland and thoroughly enjoyed it. Friendly and attentive staff. Excellent food. Highly recommend.

We have been in Dublin, Kinsale, Cobh, Killarney, and portmagee and this was EASILY the best food we had. The oysters and ale were the best I ever had and the lobster with garlic butter was the best we have had worldwide.

I’ve been coming here for years and it has been incredible every single time. The food is consistently outstanding — everything is always fresh, full of flavour, and cooked perfectly. Every dish is done to such a high standard and the quality never drops, which is so rare to find. In my opinion, it is the best restaurant in Dingle without question. The atmosphere, service, and especially the food are impeccable every time without fail.

08/09/2026: This is Holy Buckets stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We ordered the cod fish chipper with their homemade tartar sauce. Yes! Go! He makes it fresh right there!
08/09/2026: Highly recommended if you like fish and chips and know what to expect. Fresh local fish; we ordered smoked cod and monkfish, both excellent, especially the monkfish. The chips were very good, though perhaps a little less salt would have been nice. Friendly staff (I didn't notice if they washed their hands, as the food is cooked at high temperatures, and what doesn't kill you makes you stronger). There's a bar with a few stools where you can eat your order. The music is a bit loud. Orders take about 10 to 15 minutes to arrive, as everything is prepared fresh.

The Fish Box

06/09/2026: What a dissapointment! Ordered the fish and chips, and while the batter was light and crispy, the hake was mushy and tasteless. The chips were floury and dry inside and not crispy enough on the outside. The only saving grace was the small amount of salad on the side, which was fresh and dressed with a zingy mustard dressing. Service was polite and fast.Came half way around the world for this, and my local take away does a better job with better fish.
06/09/2026: Hard to get a table at this hugely popular seafood restaurant, kudos to the staff here, excellent food and service. Had the catch of the day which was exceptional.
