Seafood chowder excellent, but fish dish very missable. Could not even finish my main. Tasteless and drowned in fatty batter. Much better option in town!

We dropped by on a whim, there were no tables available, but the friendly receptionist called us half an hour later, as arranged, to let us know we had a table. The fish and chips were excellent.

The chicken sandwich was incredible but the fish and chips were slimey and mealy instead of being tender and flakey. Atmosphere was great. Waitresses seemed very rushed which is not their fault but did not greet us just got straight into orders.

This is no ordinary fish and chips. This is next level. Locally caught fresh fish, cooked to perfection, reasonably priced and efficient service. Well worth every cent. The best fish and chips we've ever had in 60 years! We had the sharing platter, more than enough for 2. Enjoy.

We stayed in their rental and ate at their restaurant. Best seafood I've ever eaten. I'm from Florida and a fisherman. Higfghly recommend!!!!!!! Rental was great, clean and roomy.

Very busy restaurant but they have a good system where they take your number, tell you an approx wait time & message when the table comes free. We got the Fish Box & the Fish Spice box. Fish really really fresh & batter lovely & light. Friendly staff & prompt service. Would definitely recommend.

You absolutely must try the seafood chowder. The food is excellent. You’ll have to put up with a bit of a wait, but it’s well worth it.

21/04/2026: Had the most amazing food in Doyle’s tonight, we were a table of 3 and went for a selection of the small plates followed by 2 deserts to share. Nothing disappointed, food was absolutely delicious and the staff were attentive and extremely friendly!! Can’t recommend enough, book in advance though as it’s quite busy!
