An incredibly atmospheric restaurant with great service and very good, hearty food. I had the daily special, and it was delicious, varied in flavor, and cooked with love. Highly recommended.

Sat next to the fire, had a local beer and the roast of the day : pork loin with dressing, mashed and vegetables. Take the very SHORT detour off the Ring of Kerry for this place, you will be glad you did.

The beef and guinness pie was top notch. The beef was incredible and there was plenty of it. Chips side salad and a pint of Guinness. All lovely. I hope to be back

A typical Irish pub, very nice, very friendly, and very pretty! We sat at a table by the fireplace! The Irish coffee was delicious!

McDermott's Pub

13/05/2026: This was such a nice pub! I absolutely loved the cottage pie I got for my meal, and my husband was very impressed with his fish & chips. We enjoyed listening to the live traditional Irish music!
12/05/2026: Great bar food. I had the burger and it was delicious. My wife was happy with her fish and chips.
