18/10/2026: My favorite course on our trip. Vistas were amazing, golf course was fun but challenging. Our caddies were the best. A must play for golfers.

30/09/2026: Unplayable due to weather - driving rain and 40 mile per hour wind. The course couldn't have cared less. Should have been closed and golfers refunded. Very unprofessional in how to treat a customer.

01/10/2026: Excellent stop for lunch along our drive. Some great choices on the menu and everything we had was delicious and filling.

13/09/2026: Music and beer, great atmosphere, the place was packed, people of all ages. I loved it.

18/08/2026: The service and food were memorable. The venue is cozy and romantic. We only wished we had saved room for dessert because a neighboring table ordered cheesecake and chocolate cake that looked fantastic. The staff makes your dining experience feel relaxed and elevated. I would recommend calling ahead for a reservation if able as they stay busy.

13/10/2026: Walked in for lunch with ease and had an excellent meal. The seafood stew was spectacular and the brown bread pairs with it just perfectly. The seafood pie came out piping hot and took a long time to cool off but was also tasty and a very large portion. The restaurant has the cutest decorations, kept the ocean theme but very modern, cute and well done overall.

27/05/2026: Hopefully it's sunny in waterville when you arrive as its a beautiful place and looks stunning on a nice day. The villa is so welcoming, not just for your stay but for food and drink. The atmosphere 👌. Food is reasonably priced and is amazing. And make sure your there for the weekend as the band on a Saturday night was perfect

14/10/2026: Very good food, restaurant wasn’t too busy. Unfortunately the door was constantly open which made it a bit chilly. Otherwise had a good time and would come again.

03/10/2026: Spent a lovely afternoon visiting the house and the garden. Both where amazing. The staff and Patsy especially where so friendly and kind. My mum is a wheelchair user and I have a hidden disability. It was very accessible and staff where a great help. Would highly recommend Muckross house.

24/07/2026: Beautiful hotel with excellent staff. Rooms are big and comfortable, very nice decoration and exceptional staff. Breakfast served to table. Dinner at the Garden bar beautiful ! Highly recommend

13/06/2026: Pure excellence in service, staffing, hospitality, friendliness and helpfulness. This hotel possesses the highest quality in rooms, bedding and bath. Restaurant food is so delicious we were tempted to never dine elsewhere. The bar is top shelf in every way, including the pianists playing popular music.

02/10/2026: Lily House is a wonderful place to enjoy a meal in Kenmare. The restaurant has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and the friendly service made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The menu offers a tempting selection of Thai and Chinese dishes, so there’s plenty to choose from. We really enjoyed the Singapore noodles, which were full of flavour and had just the right amount of spice. The Amber Fire Steak was another highlight: tender, delicious, and beautifully prepared. Both dishes were satisfying and made us want to come back to try more of the menu.

25/08/2026: Very nice cafe/pancake shop. Well known, parking a bit of a problem, although the parking lot is quite large. Outdoor seating is nice, lots of tables. Unfortunately 2 out of 3 pancakes were burnt in the middle.

15/08/2026: I would imagine that they call themselves “The pancake cottage”. I would rather eat sheep dung. Too butter for my sweet tooth.

08/10/2026: Awful, overpriced, recycled food, most likely reheated in the microwave. It's a pity I held positive memories prior, as the food was exquisite and fresh. The restaurant is now rundown in every possible way, ( the whole place is in serious need of revamp, the chairs are uncomfortable, with stained flat cushions, above you could see the TVs with dust on them, the table legs had droplets of dried-out condiments and food, it was really filthy). The service was good, but obviously we expected top tier food that's why we stayed on. Their status as a reputable, decent food restraunt have surely sunk. We will not be returning, and I wouldn't recommend going to eat there.

06/10/2026: The food wasn't great. The meat in Guinness had absolutely no flavor. Meh.
