Quinlan’s Seafood Bar

Killarney
18/07/2026: You won't find any fresher or tastier seafood around! Chips are as crispy as you get, and service is great! I'll be back to try their chowder.
15/07/2026: Excellent fish and chips perfectly fried. And not a smelly odor in the place and after on your clothes. The young man serving was kind and efficient. I asked for well cooked fries and I go it! Thank you very much!!!

The Rose Hotel

Tralee
29/06/2026: Super friendly staff. Huge thank you the bar men last night especially mason for his kindness and banter with the kids.would really recommend this hotel. Only flaw was there's no pool other than that perfect holiday. Would highly recommend.
18/06/2026: It is utterly unacceptable that the designated smoking area is positioned directly alongside the main entrance ramp. This layout forces guests, including those with infants in strollers, to navigate through clouds of second-hand smoke just to enter the property. For families traveling with babies or young children, I would strongly advise seeking alternative accommodations. Such a design flaw is entirely unacceptable by modern hospitality standards.

Park

Kenmare
29/05/2026: There’s a free art tour given at 5pm which was incredible - Jonathan’s knowledge was very impressive and just an all round great bloke. Would’ve given a hefty tip if we had any cash! Followed by a few of the best cocktails I’ve ever had in my life - the 1958. Tastes like a spicy marg, looks like a martini. Stunning hotel and the staff were all class, we’d definitely come to stay next time.
27/05/2026: Sensational few days! Service was top class, food was perfect. Staff couldn’t have looked after us any better!

Tigh T.P.

Murreagh
05/07/2026: Beef stroganoff was okay. Dessert, strawberry Eaton mess, was good. Unfortunately, the wine was bad. Plastic on the tables, cutlery and related items in a huge bin on the table. In short, the food was okay, but the ambiance could use an update.
29/06/2026: Very courteous service and delicious food. The tomato soup was a highlight. The chicken was perfectly breaded, very flavorful and tender.

Parkgate Coffee

Tralee
15/07/2026: Hot Chocolate was unreal. Never had such a hot chocolate anywhere else. Would highly recommend. Only downside is that there is no seating area.
04/07/2026: Coffee was nice. Traybakes had mostly gone by the time I ordered. Small place, no toilets but public ones 5mins walk away. Benches outside are the only seats available. Otherwise walk 2mins to the park and enjoy al fresco coffee.

Tig Áine

26/06/2026: We stopped along our cycle of Slea head, with the weather so nice and the views breathtaking we had our food outside. Service was exceptional and so friendly with cupla focal as Gaeilge, and the open sea trout and cream cheese was delicious. Even grabbed a few treats to go for the rest of our cycle
26/06/2026: Came across this little place by accident while cycling the Slea Head drive and boy am I glad we did! The view, the food, the service, the coffee, the best banana bread I’ve ever tasted and I’ve sampled a lot!! Their brownie was huge but it kept so well it had us fuelled for a few days. Would 100000% recommend. Worked out around €48 for two lunches, two coffees and two treats.

Sol y Sombra

23/04/2026: If you're a future bride/groom considering 10 Bridge Street as your wedding venue, DO IT. As soon as we had our initial visit and chat with Cliodhna (who is an absolute legend), we knew it was the venue for our day. We had our ceremony and dinner reception/party at 10 Bridge Street with our drinks reception at Kingston's. Firstly the planning was so smooth and there was no question or request too big or small, Cliodhna was always on hand to provide answers or support. I am 100% a type A bride (without the Bridezilla bit, I hope!) and Cliodhna was not fazed at all haha. The day itself was incredible. The venue is absolutely stunning - and so flexible in terms of decor/flower styling. The size is big enough to fit loads of guests yet the ceremony space itself felt really intimate. We had biodegradable confetti for outside post ceremony but unfortunately it was raining. Cliodhna was like, not a problem we can do it inside. I actually felt bad for it but Cliodhna was insistent that it would be no bother. Back to the dinner reception, the venue had been flipped into an intimate dining space. We asked to have our speeches before dinner which was again no bother. The food was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. Four course of delicious plates and each was such a generous serving. We have never been to a wedding with such quality food, the guests raved about it too. Following the dinner reception, Cliodhna and the team performed some sort of dark magic because they managed to flip the room yet again with all of our guests still in there ready for the party! We didn't even notice it happening, one minute it was a restuarant then it became a dancefloor! And what a party we had. It is such a good venue for dancing - loads of space and the sound is fantastic. A day and night to remember. Everyone in the lead up to the wedding kept reminding us that despite us doing our best efforts, something would go wrong on the day. Well I can say that with Cliodhna and the team at the wheel that not one thing went wrong and it was even better than I could have imagined. Our guests have told us repeatedly that ours was the best wedding they've ever been to, and I wholeheartedly agree. I may be biased but it's true. Anytime we've met up with our guests they reminisce about the day as much as we do! I am SO GLAD we picked 10 Bridge Street as our wedding venue because we had the most wonderful day, not just for us but for all of our guests. We can't thank Cliodhna, Adrian and the rest of the team enough. Christina & Zach x (Photos: Lovestory, also amazing!)
14/04/2026: We got married at 10 Bridge Street last October, and from the moment we first stepped in, we knew it was the one. The whole team – especially Cliodhna – were incredible. From day one, nothing was ever too much. Every idea or question (and I had plenty!) was met with calm, warmth, and a genuine “we’ve got you,” which meant everything. Having our two dogs included for the whole day was so important to us, and the team made it completely seamless. We had both our ceremony and reception at the venue, and it was just magic. The ceremony felt intimate and personal, and every detail – from arrival drinks to décor and flowers – was handled so thoughtfully and effortlessly. What really stood out was how little we had to worry about. The team coordinated everything behind the scenes with our suppliers, and the day ran perfectly. I was able to just relax and enjoy it, which I never thought I’d say about my own wedding day. The food was amazing (guests are still talking about it), and the service was warm, relaxed, and seamless throughout. We even trusted the team to set up our decorations the evening before, and they did it perfectly – which meant we could actually enjoy the night before instead of stressing. Everything being so close by was another huge bonus for our guests, especially those travelling. Even now, writing this makes me emotional – it truly was the best day of our lives, and we wouldn’t change a thing. If you’re considering 10 Bridge Street – do it. Kirsi, John & the (very spoiled) fur gang 🤍

Driftwood Surf Cafe

19/07/2026: We recently visited this restaurant after looking forward to it for quite some time, so it was disappointing to leave feeling underwhelmed. The biggest issue was the service. We felt forgotten about for much of the evening, waiting almost half an hour before anyone took our food and drink order. Once our order was taken, the staff we dealt with were friendly and the service itself was good, but the long waits really impacted our experience. At the end of the meal, we also waited so long to pay that we eventually had to leave the money for our bill on the table as no one came to collect it. The food was a mix of highs and lows. Some dishes were excellent and clearly well prepared, but other parts of the meal didn't meet our expectations. The mashed potato was quite bland, and some of the food was served only lukewarm rather than hot. I'm not usually one to leave negative reviews, but we had been really excited to visit and spent a significant amount of money on the meal. For the price, we expected a more attentive level of service and greater consistency with the food. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as the restaurant clearly has potential, but our experience unfortunately didn't live up to the expectations.
09/07/2026: Highly recommended place. Stunning location with views to the sea and Skellig Islands. The food will not disappoint you! Very friendly staff Definitely we’ll be back

The Tea Rooms Derrynane

Caherdaniel
15/07/2026: Interesting building with history
30/06/2026: I didn't go inside the house; it's cheap, but I didn't think it was worth it. The gardens are spectacular for strolling. People bring their pets to the surrounding area, and there's parking. Depending on the access route, the roads are better or worse; some only fit one car at a time, and there are widened sections for passing vehicles. There's a short access road and a longer one.

Dromhall Hotel

Killarney
17/06/2026: The best part of Dromhall was its location. Right opposite a centra and a gas station, very good for road trip. Rooms were great and very spacious. They also provided a plug in fan which we greatly appreciated since it was summer.
14/05/2026: Lovely staff - natural, welcoming and helpful; Very good breakfast
