Maison Gourmet in Kenmare

Sausage was “exceptional”, guacamole was extremely good. Scone was fresh and tasty. Lattes were good.

Very busy when we were there, but worth the wait. Nice selection of fresh cakes, breads and pastries.

Everything we tried was delicious - the almond croissant, Paris Brest, lemon meringue tart, chocolate caramel tart….. yum!!! If we had been in Kenmare longer we would have tried even more. Everything in the cases looked so good. Outdoor seating available.

Everything was fantastic!! A perfect breakfast. The owner served us in Spanish, the croissants were delicious, the coffee was great too, and all the staff were very friendly. We highly recommend it!

I had lovely gluten free pancakes, they might not do them all the time though. They do a gluten free carrot cake and then a different cake every day.

Loved this place. Had breakfast there twice. The locals go here. The scrambled eggs and bacon with toast was perfect. French style fluffy eggs. The pan au chocolate was great and they are known for their hot chocolate which didn't disappoint. We met a lovely local family sitting next to us and chatted for a while and they gave us some sightseeing recommendations to avoid the June crowds. All the other locals were coming by to say hello to them. Such a great small town vibe.

Staff could learn some customer service skills.

A wonderful place for a short break in Kenmare. Café Maison Gourmet has a very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere, delicious pastries, and friendly service. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and immediately felt at ease. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates good coffee or matcha, tasty treats, and a cozy ambiance.
