03/07/2026: Rooms comfortable generally ok. Service especially in the restaurant excellent, breakfast cooked to order and good. A reasonable walk into the town and the hotel seems popular with coach tours. Wifi quite slow and glitchy

17/06/2026: The best part of Dromhall was its location. Right opposite a centra and a gas station, very good for road trip. Rooms were great and very spacious. They also provided a plug in fan which we greatly appreciated since it was summer.

05/09/2026: Decent lunch spoiled by the extra charge of €2 for a jug of hot water we requested to accompany the pot of tea. A small thing, but a bit un-generous. No tip.

29/06/2026: Super friendly staff. Huge thank you the bar men last night especially mason for his kindness and banter with the kids.would really recommend this hotel. Only flaw was there's no pool other than that perfect holiday. Would highly recommend.

18/06/2026: It is utterly unacceptable that the designated smoking area is positioned directly alongside the main entrance ramp. This layout forces guests, including those with infants in strollers, to navigate through clouds of second-hand smoke just to enter the property. For families traveling with babies or young children, I would strongly advise seeking alternative accommodations. Such a design flaw is entirely unacceptable by modern hospitality standards.

11/10/2026: Unfortunately the restaurant was closed when we went but we did know that in advance, we only went for drinks. We were made very welcome by the staff and local customers. The place is very clean and comfortable to enjoy a drink. Next time we go will be for food too.

17/09/2026: Lovely restaurant and bar. Recommended by our tour guide . Had lunch - special was tandoori chicken with salad mashed potato mint coriander chutney . I had soup of the day and bread. The food was just awesome!! Amazing flavours! Highly recommended if you look for a flavour some lunch!

15/09/2026: Walked in on Tuesday at 6 pm. Table was available. Nice looking place. Good (same as everywhere in Ireland) selection of beers. Nice wine list. Ordered prawn starter,which was very good. Beef and guiness stew for a main. Really good. Had it with chips and they where very good. Staff where fine, but a bit transactional. No chatting, small talk etc. The menu has some amazing sounding dishes, and based on what I had, it's very well made. But the prices are a bit out of touch. I get it for a tourist town, but lobster for 50 euro for the first 500 grams, the an upcharge beyond that is silly.

06/10/2026: From the moment you walk in the doors of the Coffee Pot, you’re made to feel completely at home. The food was delicious - I had a bacon and Brie ciabatta and it was to die for!! The coffee is exceptional too. Would recommend to anyone.

28/08/2026: Stopped in Tralee while driving by, looking for a good coffee and fell across the perfect spot. Lovely coffee, friendly staff and a quirky environment!

11/10/2026: I love this place for drink, and good atmosphere. But is potentially the worst place to eat food in Killarney. I got garlic flatbread, and it has clearly been reheated, the bread was like a rock and the cheese too. I then got the fish and chips which was the worst fish I’ve ever had. The batter was like cardboard and the fish tasted off. Very upset given that it really ain’t cheap.

09/10/2026: We ended up eating here twice. The first time we just got take out, because members of our crew were under the weather. We went back again to enjoy the atmosphere and some live music. The first time I got the Cottage Pie, which was excellent. The second time I had a burger, which was also very good. The place is fairly big inside, so the "quaint Irish pub" vibe gets lost in the size a bit, but the live music was good, and overall the ambiance is definitely pub"ish". Service was good, especially the first visit when our server made sure the take out (which clearly isn't their specialty) was good for us--for example she steered us away from soups because they didn't have good containers for them.

16/10/2026: The sandwiches here are amazing! 🥪 Instead of regular sliced ​​bread, they use a flat bread like naan, generously filled with ingredients. I asked the waitress for a recommendation, so I don't know what kind of sandwich it was. The chai latte was also delicious. A handsome staff member carried our warm food up to the upper floor. Downstairs, I could hear the staff and what seemed like regulars laughing loudly. Maybe there was a game going on? It felt like we had the place to ourselves, very relaxing. Bhí sé blasta 🇮🇪

16/10/2026: I have to say, the Porterhouse in Killarney completely blew me away and is now one of my all-time favorite culinary experiences! We drove there specifically for it, and the evening was simply divine from beginning to end. The interior is truly unique and cozy – you sit in charming, separate little wooden booths and alcoves, which gives the whole place a wonderfully private and rustic atmosphere. The food was an absolute highlight. We had the incredibly tender rib-eye steaks with peppercorn sauce, the magnificent spare ribs that practically fell off the bone, and the legendary signature house beef burger. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, was cooked to perfection, and masterfully seasoned. Huge praise also goes to the kitchen for the ingenious and innovative vegan options, which are rarely found in such high quality. And then there was the local Killarney Blonde Ale, which paired perfectly with the food. The prices, around €20 to €40 per person, are more than fair for this top-notch quality and the generous portions. The entire team was exceptionally warm, attentive, and incredibly fast, even though the place was extremely busy. This restaurant doesn't just deserve five stars, it sets a true standard for Irish hospitality. Anyone traveling in Kerry simply MUST eat here – an absolute must-visit! It's just a shame there was no Wi-Fi...

14/10/2026: Completely blown away by how amazing this place was. Having traveled all over Scotland and Ireland, this was the best food we've experienced by far. The sirloin steak had a perfect, chargrilled flavor. The brie and bacon burger was perfectly balanced. The seafood chowder stole the show with meaty seafood and perfect flavor. We have many days here and can't wait to come back and try more dishes.
