12/01/2025: Lovely little takeaway coffee place. I ordered a flat white on almond milk (yay!) and a regular cappuccino for my boyfriend with a mars cookie on the side. It was absolutely beautiful! I loved their flat white and am very delighted that I’m finding more and more spots in Ireland that serve great coffee. My boyfriends cappuccino was a tiny bit too frothy and without the chocolate powder that he’s used to from Australia. It was still 5/5! The mars cookie was very heavy but delicious :)

02/03/2025: Hands down, this B&B has exceeded all my expectations!!! After a week of exploring Ireland, I can confidently say this place has it all. Delicious food, a fantastic bar, and exceptional service. The owner and staff are incredibly welcoming, making you feel right at home. They're more than happy to share their knowledge of the area, recommend hidden gems, and provide valuable insights into Ireland's rich history. Plus, parking is a breeze - a rare find in Ireland! 11/10 would recommend

06/01/2025: We hadn’t planned to stay here on our trip back to Dublin. Because of atrocious weather conditions we couldn’t progress. Liz and her team kindly reopened her B&B for us and a few other stranded travellers. We had a comfortable stay with nice food including breakfast. Then we were on our way. Fantastic Kerry hospitality.

12/03/2025: Cozy pub, attentive and warm service and excellent cuisine. The Guinness stew and the chocolate cake are an absolute recommendation. Always worth an evening in Dingle

21/03/2025: I've been here more than 20x times. The food is excellent, the service is quick, and staff are very friendly. Coffee is also very good (although GoodBoy technically has the best coffee in town, and it's close). It's never taken more than 5 minutes maximum for somebody to take my order, with about 10 minutes maximum for serving. The only real problem is that on lunch hour and on Saturdays it can be hard to find available seats if its too busy.

16/03/2025: Curious Cat Cafe is an absolute nightmare of a place—hands down the worst cafe experience I’ve ever had. We waited a full hour for a simple sandwich and coffee, and nothing showed up. Not a crumb, not a drop, nothing. The whole time, the waiters just stood there, snickering and laughing at us like we were the punchline to some private joke, while we sat there starving and confused. It was humiliating. After an hour of this absurdity, with no sign of our order, we finally gave up and decided to leave. As we tried to walk out, the staff had the audacity to harass us, calling us "selfish" for not waiting longer—like we owed them our time and patience for their incompetence. This place is a chaotic mess, and I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy being mocked and ignored. Looking at TripAdvisor this is common here

22/03/2025: This Bar and Boutique accommodation is just lovely, recently renovated over last few years. There is a real fire, a bar section and then lots of designated areas for food. It's a pizza delight, think crust and just yummy, you can have middle cut out and replaced with salad ( if your on a diet) Staff very pleasant. We go nearly all the time we are down and always recommend it to family and friends.

16/02/2025: Very expensive. It is the Japanese restaurant with the worst value for money where I have ever eaten. Seafood ramen made with frozen fish: dry and hard. The tuna was not fresh. I don't understand why the Chinese insist on passing themselves off as Japanese instead of making their food, which, although well made, is also of excellent quality. I guess because so-called Japanese food can be sold at a much more expensive price. If you know Japanese food, stay away from here.

23/12/2024: Great pints and 10/10 service from the staff but what’s with all the creeps hanging around the ladies bathroom entrance pulling and grabbing women. Several times throughout the night I seen known regulars acting creepy and harassing women.

03/03/2025: Cozy Atmosphere, Great Pizza & Friendly Staff We had a great time at this spot! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a cozy, old-school vibe that makes you feel right at home. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, even though it was a busy night. We had about a 30-minute wait, but we lucked out and got a table right next to the fireplace, which made the whole experience even better. I ordered a few Guinness throughout the night. While it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, it also wasn’t the worst—it was decent enough to enjoy with the meal. What really stood out, though, was the pizza. It was absolutely phenomenal! Perfectly cooked with a crispy-yet-chewy crust, great toppings, and just the right amount of sauce and cheese. If you visit, I highly recommend giving the pizza a shot—it’s definitely worth it! Even though the place was packed, the service remained attentive, and the staff kept things running smoothly. It’s a great spot to hang out, enjoy a drink, and grab some really good food. The fireplace seating made it extra special, so if you get a chance to sit there, it’s definitely worth the wait. We’ll definitely be back for another round of pizza and good vibes!

27/09/2024: Spillane's bar is a traditional Irish restaurant located in Castle Gregory, a little town in Dingle Peninsula, in Western Ireland. We came here to have dinner and it was an excellent choice. We could taste homemade food: a soup of the day as the first dish, grilled monkfish and fish with sauce as the main dish, and a crumble as dessert. All was excellent! Also, we drank a Kilkenny beer. Very recommendable!

24/09/2024: This place has gone seriously downhill. We’ve been visiting Spillanes for years and it has usually been quite good. Unfortunately our last two visits were very disappointing. Quality of the food has really disimproved. Chowder was lukewarm and tasteless. Sent back 3 bowls which they proceeded to microwave one by one resulting in us all eating at different stages. Toasted sandwich was poor also. We were charged for a pint of Guinness that we didn’t get but they quickly refunded that. Service was mediocre but the food let the place down significantly. I’d be slow to return.

14/01/2025: Absolutely adore this wonderful gem of a restaurant! The plant based egg sambos are just delicious. The soups ..the Beany one or the Cauliflower offering are just so hearty and made from scratch. Love also that we can bring our four leggeds that sit quietly at our feet while we done! Well done Rustic Boowa.. the place to visit in Tralee.

22/11/2024: Monday 11th November is Polish Independence Day and one of our traditions in my city of Poznań is eating special croissants with white poppy seeds filling. We managed to order them this year from Rustic Boowa in Tralee!!! To say they were amazing is an understatement! The taste and richness of the ingredients made us feel at home ❤️ This is a family business and you can see that they put love into everything they do. The best coffee in town, not to mention their delicious treats. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to revisit, whether to try another dish or simply enjoy the atmosphere. Highly recommended for coffee lovers and foodies alike! Order anything and you won't be disappointed.
