Love everything here and will go back again! - Seafood: so fresh and so tasty - Staff: attentive, friendly and efficient - Speed: when we arrived, the restaurant was packed but we got to order straight away after finished reading the menu and shortly the starters were served. - Music: on the day we went, the band was so good. Mix of Irish and 90' songs - guess was for the party. ** Be advised to book a table before going in especially in summer (we went twice both weekend and weekday, full house).

Had a great meal with my wife yesterday for dinner. We were able to make a reservation about an hour prior just fine. Scenery is nice, food is excellent.

We booked in advance online. A warm welcome on arrival. The service was exemplary, not hurried and not slow. The food was of a high standard also. Beautiful dining area and very clean. You can go for a quick stroll along the sea front or just sit on the benches provided and watch the world go by. It’s a fine restaurant in a lovely location. Would I go back? Yes

Very enjoyable, great food, attentive staff and magnificent views.

I found the place a bit noisy but we were in a reflective area where there were large families. It didn't take away from the excellent food and great service. Prices were on the steep side but there are dearer places in the locale with far inferior food (The Oyster Tavern for example).

The waiters are very friendly and efficient, and the waiters are adorable. Excellent food. A great place to eat.

Honestly, I haven't had a better fish. The food was rly delicious. The personal was friendly and positive. The atmosphere were a little loudly but nice, very enjoyable. +There are toilets. +Nice luxurious design. +Pretty view.

We recently had a pre-wedding meal in The Tankard with 34 of our family and friends. The welcome we received, the kind and friendly staff and of course, delicious food were second to none. Couldn't recommend it more, a top class restaurant.
