Fantastic food and great service

Beautiful location, friendly staff. There were very few gluten free choices so I ended up having the soup which was lovely.

We recently held our wedding BBQ at the Tankard Bar and Restaurant and it was nothing short of spectacular. Julianne was incredibly supportive and helpful in organizing every detail, ensuring that our special day was perfect. Her dedication and attention to detail made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. The staff at the Tankard were also amazing, going above and beyond to accommodate our guests and making everyone feel welcome. The food was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options that satisfied all of our guests. However, the highlight of the Tankard is undoubtedly the setting. The natural beauty of Tralee Bay provides a stunning backdrop that adds a magical touch to any event. The picturesque views and serene atmosphere made our wedding BBQ truly unforgettable. We highly recommend the Tankard Bar and Restaurant for any special occasion. Thank you, Julianne, and the entire team for making our day so memorable!

Our server was far and away the best we had in all of Ireland. I want to say it was Sharon and should have wrote it down, but I could be wrong. So fun and personable. Im sure they are all great though.

Excellent quality of food. I have been here a few times and the food has always been excellent, most recently had the sticky sesame cauliflower wings and pork belly with scallops and mash followed by creme brulee. Very satisfied with each course, would highly recommend the cauliflower wings in particular. Good service and atmosphere too.
