The Lobster in Waterville-spunkane

Lovely restaurant and bar. Recommended by our tour guide . Had lunch - special was tandoori chicken with salad mashed potato mint coriander chutney . I had soup of the day and bread. The food was just awesome!! Amazing flavours! Highly recommended if you look for a flavour some lunch!

Walked in on Tuesday at 6 pm. Table was available. Nice looking place. Good (same as everywhere in Ireland) selection of beers. Nice wine list. Ordered prawn starter,which was very good. Beef and guiness stew for a main. Really good. Had it with chips and they where very good. Staff where fine, but a bit transactional. No chatting, small talk etc. The menu has some amazing sounding dishes, and based on what I had, it's very well made. But the prices are a bit out of touch. I get it for a tourist town, but lobster for 50 euro for the first 500 grams, the an upcharge beyond that is silly.

Prawns, calamari, lobster were delicious. Service was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Many gluten free options.

Came with my family for a bite to eat, during a stop in Watterville. The staff was very friendly, the pub atmosphere was very pleasant, and the food was also very tasty. The prices were also normal. Nice. We really liked both the pub and the town.

Just had one of my best Caesar salads, well balanced, all the required elements, and the option to have prawns which were delicious!

Stopped there on our tour of Ireland. The seafood pie was excellent!

Very cozy here. The food is good. On Sunday, there was a traditional Irish band here. Nice to experience this on the last day of my holiday.

A fantastic pub in Waterville, County Kerry, and without a doubt the best fish and chips I’ve had in Ireland so far! The fish was perfectly cooked, the chips were delicious, and the whole experience was excellent. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Waterville!
