Maddens in Tralee

Stopped in Tralee while driving by, looking for a good coffee and fell across the perfect spot. Lovely coffee, friendly staff and a quirky environment!

Great spot. Great coffee. Great atmosphere. Nice place to read a book in peace.

Have been a few times but the coffee quality has slipped. Milk was poorly textured and fairly scalded. Basic stuff - maybe some training needed. Seating area is dim and v loud music - not somewhere you’d sit and relax.

Maddens is a fantastic spot! They serve the most delicious drinks and have an amazing selection of sweets. A perfect place to relax and treat yourself. Highly recommended!

Atmosphere is amazing! Seats are comfortable that makes you want to stay a little longer. Great coffees and matcha, (I recommend this place if you love your matcha, they do it Great!) Pastries are yummy too, no complains. I do wish they expand on the Gluten free options as my friend can only get one of their pastries but other than that everything is great! Love the dogs that comes in, from the other customers and the people who works their probably! Staff is very friendly and sweet which makes us come here every single time! It's always full of people in here but there's always a seat available, and I honestly get why there's a lot of people. It's great to come here during winter time too, they have it all decorated and feels cozy, making you feel like you're just at home😅

I stopped in Tralee this morning and asked a lovely tall young lady where I could find a coffee shop, a good one if possible. She told me about Maddens ,even offered to walk me to it. I found it easy with her directions. Thank you so much. It wasn't a good coffee shop It was a great coffee shop, one of the best. Well worth a finding on your trips to kerry. Great coffee, sweet things and a great social space. Keep up the great work.

Lovely staff and coffee. Great place to chill with a book

It's the most unassuming place from the outside with the look of an old school pub and has the most gorgeous decor inside. There's a great seating area out the back to sit and enjoy your coffee too. Staff are super friendly and coffee is delish. Also, try the biscoff brownie! 🤤

Such a cool spot! The sort of cafe you could happily sit at all day. The coffee was nice, I would give it a 6.9/10

I always visit maddens when I’m in Tralee. A really cool little spot - great coffee and the cinnamon buns and merch were great … also love the look of the place - real care gone into the design and fun mix of old and new. I sat outside for 30 minutes having a coffee and several people came and sat for a chat which I thought was so nice.
