The best restaurants in Tralee

14/04/2026: A small Italian restaurant with delicious pizzas and risotto.

11/04/2026: My family really likes this place .food is lovely ,and it's my son's favorite place .the atmosphere is lovely .the owner is always very kind .

09/04/2026: Very odd place. Not any real theme to the cuisine or the restaurant. Had a few Irish chicken dishes, a couple Thai selections and a few Italian selections. Service was friendly but just so so. We entered at what should have been a busy dinner time and the place was dead. After ordering, I can understand why. Long wait to get food and there was literally no one else in the building when we ordered. Wife ordered 2 appetizers, fried brie and seafood chowder. Both were good but nothing special. I had the roasted Monk fish wrapped in Ham w/muscles and prawn. Should have been called shrimp instead, they were very small as were the muscles. It was OK but overcooked. Rubbery and chewy. The decor was very chaotic as well. Just random oddities like a picture of Lyndon B Johnson with some unrecognizable people, an Indian Lamp, table cloths with French flur-de-lis. Just nothing fit together. I would not recommend this establishment. Enter at your own risk. You've been warned.

09/04/2026: I am not really sure about traditional irish but I don't think this is it. I had the seafood chowder and he had the monk fish. There was no real theme to the menu, some irish steaks, Thai food.... the inside is decorated worldly with no real irish theme. The tablecloths have Fleur De lis so I was a little stumped.

05/11/2025: Stopped for a quick coffee & snack. Had veg soup, roast beef toastie, a couple coffees, all were very good! The service was warm and friendly!

14/11/2025: We landed by accident at the Parkgate Coffee. It was the best coffee I had so far in Ireland. This place could be in London. The Coffee was just amazing!

23/10/2025: €16 for a 9” pizza Charging different prices at the till to which is advertised on the overhead menu. Definitely not recommend

22/10/2025: €18.60 for a 7 inch pizza and a drink enough said a big board when you come in with different prices as to what they charge ridiculous

10/03/2026: There is always beautiful food here in The Grand, loads of choice, with very good portions. Nice surroundings, dark wood throughout. The staff are very attentive and professional. Always make a habit of coming here when in Tralee.

23/02/2026: Very nice hotel. Our bedroom was modern and decorated very nice and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is central location. All the staff were very friendly.

10/04/2026: Attended an event here food was fab and service was great

29/03/2026: Came to Tralee to meet up with Family for a very informal dinner and stayed one night. Had some drinks in the bar in the afternoon and dinner back in the bar later that evening. Service stars reduced only because of the slow service both for drinks and food. Did not understand why so slow as they seemed to have plenty of staff on. Other than that, we loved the place and will be back for a longer stay.

21/03/2026: Unreal food they have a great variety on the menu. Staff are so friendly, 10/10 spot for food and drinks.

15/03/2026: We arrived in Tralee from Cork and rang ahead early in the morning to check if reservation had to be made. I was told walk ins only and to come in. We did and were told no tables available despite the place looking quiet. We weren't even offered a time to come back just basically told no. Any other restaurant would try and look after you or say come back in half an hour. Awful.

13/04/2026: If you have been to Tralee and haven't been to Sean Ógs, shame on you, if your going to Tralee and dont plan on visiting Sean Ógs, dont bother going to Tralee! BEST Guinness in town BEST music in town AMAZING atmosphere GO! YOU'LL LOVE IT!!! ,thank me later.

18/03/2026: Our go to spot whenever we're in lovely Tralee. The Guinness is delicious and one of the best pints I've ever had anywhere. The staff are all up for the craic and are very friendly. No food available but you come here for the music, the atmosphere and the lovely beer. Flash is the main man to go to if you need anything. Well worth a visit.

05/04/2026: Some of the best food + service I’ve had in a long time! I’m from Cork and travelled over 2 hours to visit. Staff were so kind and attentive, and the food was 10/10. Will definitely be returning ☺️
