The best restaurants in Tralee

20/08/2026: Stopped off for lunch today passing through Tralee. Food was typical bar food but good. Staff were very polite and helpful. 100€ for 4 mains, 1 dessert and 2 soft drinks, average value but decent portions. Would definitely stop there again.

25/08/2026: This was some of the BEST Italian I’ve had (even better than some places we’ve been to in Italy)! We were seated right away without reservations and were dressed in casual wear even though this was a nicer restaurant. The service was amazing and the food/drinks were served so quickly. We had the spinach & ricotta ravioli, penne arrabbiatta, & chocolate fudge cake with vanilla ice cream. I could have eaten the arrabbiata sauce by itself it was so delicious. The chocolate cake was so light and the icing was divine. We each had the house red wine (montepulciano) & a Bailey’s coffee. Even the drinks were perfection. We were just passing through on our way to Dingle and stopped for dinner. We stumbled upon this cute little restaurant because the pizza place we were going to go to ended up being closed & I’m so glad that we did. They had an indoor/outdoor patio area that was so nice to sit in plus 2 dining seating areas and a back bar area. If you are visiting Tralee or passing through, this restaurant is a MUST!!

03/07/2026: I regularly go there as I like their coffee. Salads are amazing and they do small bowls. A good bit of bar space to sit when alone and a lovely terrace when the sun is out.

10/08/2026: We were very happy with the food we ordered for my son's birthday party. It arrived exactly on time and was hot/ready to serve in bain maries, which meant we did not have to worry about reheating etc and that people could serve themselves in a very relaxed fashion. Everyone enjoyed their me and we even had enough to send people home with extra portions etc. Would highly recommend Catering Tralee and we would definitely order again.

10/08/2026: We ordered catering for our daughter’s birthday party and we were absolutely delighted with the service provided from Catering Tralee. Monika was a pleasure to deal with at all times and very helpful in advising regarding food options. The food itself was absolutely gorgeous and very plentiful and all our guests were very complementary. We will definitely be choosing Catering Tralee for any future special occasions. 13/08/2026: Absolutely dont go here......... cos you will keep on coming back for more. Everything is so tasty and delicious. Staff are lovely but very very busy. Very beautifully set up.

01/08/2026: Great spot! Very interesting menu with a lot of variety of sweet pastries, doughnuts and sandwiches. Staff were also friendly and attentive. Would recommend!

31/07/2026: Paid a visit to Tralee and was advised to try out Sean Ogs Bar. Door staff on always nice to see.We were lucky to get 2 seats at the bar. Service was prompt, product was really good. A Little later on there was live 🎶 which was really good. We would return.

21/08/2026: One of the best meals we had in Ireland! Beef bourguignon was well prepared. Also tried the duck breast in raspberry sauce special and seafood cassoulet with prawns and crab claws. Both were delicious.

23/08/2026: I got a burger for takeaway and it was very fairly priced with the fact that I also got some salad, coleslaw, fries and onion rings as an extra for the same price. Would recommend if you want something normal to eat

26/06/2026: We have been eating at the Pikeman Bar for more years than I can count during visits to Tralee. If there is a better place to get bar food then point me to it. A great menu. The food is always fresh, tasty and hot. The service is always brilliant. I highly recommend.

04/07/2026: Was so glad we chose this hotel. I was a hot wary with the location but we were so welcomed from the moment we walked into when we walked out. Glad we listened to recommendations that the hotel food was gorgeous and ended up eating the two nights we were there. Kids loved it so much that the eldest said she's going to remember the room number and ask for that room when she's an adult

22/06/2026: Was visiting for a wedding and the location was perfect for what I needed. The room was pretty darn good, though the toilet was a little flakey when it wanted to flush. Receptionist was excellent, really helpful and informative, made it really easy to relax straight away because I trusted I was in good hands
