Gally's Bar & Restaurant in Tralee

Stopped off for lunch today passing through Tralee. Food was typical bar food but good. Staff were very polite and helpful. 100€ for 4 mains, 1 dessert and 2 soft drinks, average value but decent portions. Would definitely stop there again.

At first glance, it looked like a very modest restaurant— plus we’d read a few negative comments about the service… But our experience with the waitresses and waiters was immaculate, and the food was delicious. We shared a garlic bread with cheese that I’m still dreaming about, then respectively ordered a beef burger and a Caesar salad: the burger was high‑quality and very rich, and the Caesar salad was so huge it was almost hard to finish — if it hadn’t been so good. Definitely recommended.

We arrived at Gally’s for lunch after a walk and had built up quite an appetite. The warm welcome on arrival was much appreciated. We ordered the roast beef and chicken supreme, and the service was quick. The meal was fresh and very tasty. The beef was soft and tender, while the chicken paired perfectly with the pepper sauce. Highly recommended.

Popped in one day to have dinner. There was crumbs on the couch the table i was told to sit at if there was another person with me they would have to brush off the crumbs. The food is ok small portion and a bit expensive. Meat very fatty mash was 1 and a bit scoop and loads of veg but was over cooked
