Decent lunch spoiled by the extra charge of €2 for a jug of hot water we requested to accompany the pot of tea. A small thing, but a bit un-generous. No tip.

We both had toasted ham and cheese and Hot Chocolates - the toasties 10/10 fresh cut ham not processed lovely cheese a little butter - lovely girls serving and only 25 euro for all - left a tip as they were great -clean bathroom as well

Cute little spot with great food, but they were too understaffed for the amount of diners they had. They should definitely hire an extra server for weekend shifts.

31/08/2026: We had an exquisite night here. Mike and his team are incredibly personable and Mike loves to come out of the kitchen and meet and greet his punters, he is a lovely man. The setting is fab, and the building has a fantastic story. It was a rent collectors during English rule and then during the great hunger they gave out tickets to sail to America, not free I may add…you had to relinquish your property to the English landlords. Enough about that… the food is excellent. The prawn cocktail is a throw back with modern flare. The catch of the day, Hake, was cooked perfectly, and the scallops were to die for. Love this place and highly recommend it.

26/08/2026: Fantastic meal plus friendly service. Food was well cooked and seasoned, loved the salmon plus the veggies were cooked perfectly…would recommend
16/08/2026: I was here today drenched in rain (after almost completing the ring of kerry). Had lunch, beef burger and soup, food was good, atmosphere was family friendly and staff energetic and welcoming. Great experience.
