The Bay Restaurant in Kenmare

Our 2nd time in Kemmare bay hotel stayed there for our 3rd wedding anniversary staff were so warm and welcoming room upgraded box of chocs and a card in the room reception staff fantastic

Lovely, nothing too much trouble and 99% of the staff great. Food great. Would definitely stay again if possible.

Nice hotel, great location, friendly staff. Only thing: hard to sleep, constant banging of doors from 7am onwards.

The room is large, as is the bathroom. Everything seems very comfortable at first glance. But the mattress was too soft, resulting in a terrible night's sleep. As seems to be the case everywhere in Ireland, there's no heating in the bathroom, which is quite invigorating. And the radiator in the bedroom switched off during the night, leaving us cold. The staff, on the other hand, are very pleasant. The restaurant is quite expensive, and the burger patty was cooked like shoe leather. It was impossible to get it cooked rare or medium-rare. Disappointed.

Always a very welcoming place to stay, excellent staff, very relaxing, felt safe because of the precautions they have in place to deal with Covid 19.

Very good value for a 3-star hotel; both breakfast and dinner were excellent! It's not far from the city center. The lobby has various seating options. Parking is readily available. The swimming pool is also open to the public.

Rooms are a bit dated but very clean. Service wise the staff from reception staff, dining staff and bar staff all were very kind and really great to have a chat and laugh with. I’m a celiac and I found the staff when asked were very knowledgeable, reassuring and accommodating. Be great to see a separate gluten free menu ! Location wise it’s only a 3 minute walk to kenmare itself which was ideal your out enough to be in a nice quiet part but not far away from the craic either. Pool, sauna, jacuzzi were used and was very clean. Will be back to try out the Spa!
