The best restaurants in Kerry

15/09/2026: Lovely views. Good pints, good service. Chowder and soda/ wheaten bread were top notch. Burgers looked good but didn't have any. Chips nice and crunchy.

12/09/2026: We discovered the café by chance and were delighted. Delicious cookies and sandwiches.

06/10/2026: I had the absolute pleasure of attending a wedding at 10 Bridge Street recently. The location was fabulous in the old church which made the occasion even more special. The quick transformation from having the wedding ceremony to a dining area for the reception appeared to happen seamlessly while we adjourned to a nearby pub. I guess I'm an old fogey and was surprised to see a non-traditional menu - but what a glorious experience it was. When I originally saw the menu I thought yeah I will like some of this. However I was wrong - I loved every single item. Words really cannot describe how good it was. Not only was everything tasty and cooked to perfection it was also plentiful. So, the venue and the food passed muster. The staff however went above and beyond to make it a perfect day. Everyone at 10 Bridge Street should be proud of the fantastic team they have gathered together and the business they have created. I would highly recommend it as a wedding venue or indeed for any other gathering or event you may have. I just hope I'm invited to another wedding there soon. Pat

19/08/2026: My husband and I were married at 10 Bridge Street a few weeks ago and had the most incredible experience. Clíodhna made the entire process seamless from start to finish. I truly cannot praise the team enough: the unique venue, the food, and the service were spectacular. We wouldn't change a single thing. So many of our guests commented on how charming and intimate the venue was. On the day itself, Clíodhna was the calm, organised presence we needed to ensure everything ran effortlessly. Highly recommend Bridge St and the team!

01/09/2026: A very nice restaurant with very friendly waitresses. The service was quite quick, the dishes simple but very good value for money. I really liked the homemade bread and the trout was good quality. Perhaps a shame that the sandwiches are served with crisps, but at that price it's acceptable! The vegetable soup was good. We were there during a podcast recording in Irish; it was nice to see all those people. They sell beautiful and inexpensive cards (€3). Great for supporting artists!

11/10/2026: food was delicious, full of flavour, and really satisfying. The atmosphere was cosy and welcoming, making it a lovely spot to enjoy a meal with family. Definitely worth a visit if you're craving good Italian food while in Kerry! Would happily come back again! ❤️

08/09/2026: Loved this place went to see ladies view on the ring of Kerry stopped for a coffee ended up having rhubarb crumble and cream it was delicious there home made ice cream was fantastic my grandson got a chocolate ice cream desert and it was massive and delicious the lattes and hot chocolate was scrumptious fine gift shop as well selling all sorts of souvenirs Aran jumpers ect defo stop here if your in the area the food including Guinness stews were very reasonable and looked delicious staff were top notch friendly and kind the way it should be and the scenery nothing like it in the world highly recommended

27/09/2026: A beautiful, peaceful historic estate right on the coast. The house and museum provide great history on Daniel O'Connell; the video presentation about his life and work was very interesting. The grounds, gardens, and adjacent Derrynane Beach make it truly special. We really enjoyed our time here and stayed longer than we had anticipated. Highly recommend stopping by for a walk and a coffee at the tea rooms.

14/09/2026: Hot chocolate was very milky. Cake was okay. Tourists seemed to be treated politely, but in a rather impersonal way. Good background music.

16/08/2026: I was here today drenched in rain (after almost completing the ring of kerry). Had lunch, beef burger and soup, food was good, atmosphere was family friendly and staff energetic and welcoming. Great experience.

12/09/2026: My husband and I ate at this wonderful establishment a month ago during our visit in SW Ireland. We changed our itinerary late in the day after a long trip on the Ring and they were accommodating with a fabulous table in the back corner with a gorgeous view. I had the crab claw appetizer and the halibut entree. My husband had the mussels and salmon. They were both cooked and seasoned to perfection while the portions generous. The additional potatoes and veggies provided were also perfectly cooked (never knew a potato could be so perfect with a salty crunch on the exterior and a melt in your mouth center). The wine menu had plenty of international options to compliment our delicious meals. The environment was warm, enviting and comfortable with a beautiful view of their manicured grounds and coastline. The service was friendly and professional as well as timely. We enjoyed it so much that we ate there the following night and had the same enjoyable experience. Both meals were the best we had in the Killarney area for the week. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!
