There may be better accommodations in Dingle, but Murphy's has everything we could have wanted. Secure entry to the B&B portion, excellent rooms (ours, #12, had an amazing view of the harbor) private parking a wonderful included breakfast, and a location where walking distance, along with pulling out onto the road and hitting Slea Head Drive was effortless. (They have great Guinness as well) Murphy's is one of the gems of Dingle, and we've already booked another stay for December!

We didn't stay here just ate and drank here. 3 different times. Service is friendliest we experienced. Food is yumsh. The Guinness... perfect. Order tung dingle gin if you have a gin drink. It's the best...by far.

Ordered the cottage pie off their daily special's menu. One of the best things I've eaten on my vacation in Ireland. If they have it, I highly recommend. Chef's kiss đź’‹

Just went for food at the pub, not rooms. Guinness stew and steak sandwich were both very good. Excellent service!

Very filling meals, you don’t leave hungry. The focus is on a savory and salty. Maybe a bit basic but this is a place you can count on when in a pinch. Service was good too, the man with the broken hand provided seem to go above and beyond.

Bob Griffin's Bar

31/12/2025: My husband and I were looking for a spot to host loved ones the day after our wedding. As Americans relatively unfamiliar to the best local spots in Dingle, our wedding planner swiftly recommended Bob Griffin’s. We were floored by fact that there was no up front cost required to reserve an area for our group. (Though we were happy to purchase our fair share of beverages from the bar upon arrival.) Bob Griffin’s was exactly where we wanted to be after an eventful wedding day: a cozy, welcoming, unpretentious bar to hang out and reminisce. We know where we’ll be for another pint the next time we’re in Dingle!

Lord Baker's

28/06/2026: After spending nearly 30 minutes walking around rainy Dingle trying to find somewhere to eat, we were honestly starting to lose hope. A few places we walked into didn’t feel very welcoming, but the moment we stepped into Lord Baker’s, everything changed. We were greeted with the biggest smiles, warmly welcomed in, and the menu was explained so kindly. It genuinely felt less like walking into a restaurant and more like walking into someone’s home. The atmosphere was cosy, relaxed, and exactly what we needed after exploring Dingle in the rain. The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was even better. Every member of staff made us feel looked after from start to finish. Without a doubt, this was the highlight of our day. We’d come back in a heartbeat. 10/10 – if you’re in Dingle, don’t miss this place!
28/06/2026: We ordered the half lobster with steamed mussels for €38, and we thought it was excellent value for money. The seafood was incredibly fresh—you could even easily pull the meat out of the lobster legs, which is usually a good sign that it wasn't previously frozen. Both the lobster and the mussels were beautifully seasoned, and every bite was delicious. The owner, an elderly gentleman, reminded us of Colonel Sanders from KFC. He was warm, welcoming, and full of character. The first time we stopped by, we weren't ready to eat yet—we just wanted to ask what time they closed. Even so, he warmly welcomed us, introduced the day's specials, and invited us to come back whenever we liked. The staff were equally friendly. When we were ordering, they brought the daily specials board right over to our table so we could take our time choosing. During the meal, they also checked on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed. It was a genuinely welcoming dining experience.
