I loved this place, not afraid to be themselves, 'The Clash' on a poster and 'The Smiths' amongst others for background music, if they'd played Joni Mitchell I'd have asked for a job. Lunch was good, fish and chips, but it's people that leave their mark on you. Wonderful member of staff, Amy, intelligent, thoughtful, hot day so she gave a customer's dog a bowl of water, how nice is that....

24/04/2026: Maybe our expectations were too high but we felt our meal was just ok. The oysters were delicious, the rabbit and foie gras appetizer was very good, the rack of lamb was good but slightly overdone and the beef medallions were tough. Both desserts were a disappointment, with the sea salt ice cream being the wild card - it was delicious. For the price of the meal it was a disappointment but compared to another meal of fish and chips, Iā€™d do it again. šŸ˜‰
25/03/2026: Great food, the scallop and the lamb were exceptional! I wish every town in Ireland had a restaurant like this.

25/09/2025: The seafood chowder was rich with lots of seafood in a tasty base The servers were very nice and efficient
03/09/2025: Nice place to have different types of food. We had chicken wings as starter that were marinated with hoisin sauce (Asian style) and we had the mussels in Asian style - also really delicious!
