11/05/2025: Disappointed by the service here. I asked for a takeaway and was abruptly told I’d need to buy a reusable cup — despite a sign clearly stating takeaway is available. The owner, an older man, was rude and dismissive, complaining that people litter with paper cups. I’m not “everyone” — I came in to support a local business, not be lectured or treated poorly.
There’s a big difference between being environmentally conscious and being condescending to paying customers. Sadly, I won’t be returning.
04/05/2025: Best coffee in all of Killarney. Alan Oliver super GAA fan, is the best owner in town. Must visit! Great outdoor seating!

07/05/2025: The best Italian Cuisine Tralee has to offer the taste is so authentic that you wonder are you eating in Toscany or are you eating in Tralee Co Kerry. The food is so flavourful,the place is so clean so service is amazing and the prices are affordable not like some other places that you get charged an arm and a leg for a handful of pasta.
The waitresses are so helpful and so friendly and that’s a big plus because it makes you feel so welcomed. If there are more Stars than 5 here I’ll definitely give it.
Thank you for an amazing Dinner & Service we will definitely be back and spread our amazing experience in Il Pomodoro.

03/05/2025: We had 3 people in our party. I had the pan seared sea bass with chips and salad, one person had the fish-n-chips (fresh hake) and another crab claws, onion rings, chips and salad. We stuffed our faces! We dined in. The chef was super accommodating. The sea bass was gluten free- I wish it would have had a little more seasoning or fresh garlic but I added lemon and salt and was thrilled. The crab claws had a tasty seasoning on them. You
Could taste the freshness! And, the salad was lovely. The food came quickly and we all walked away happy!

04/05/2025: We drove all the way from killarney, arrived 6pm we were told they are done for the day no serving food. Plenty tables were available. Very disappointed experience! Not recommending this place again.

This is one of those places that manages to be busy yet cosy, and is a great place to plop down with a book.

Add to this a delicious meal and spacious rooms. Not to mention the charming garden. A must-see for anyone visiting Killarney.

In front of the hotel a parking is available.
