24/06/2026: We had an amazing stay at the Great Southern for two nights. A fabulously beautiful hotel with great service, right in the town centre. The staff were so accommodating and friendly.. such a treat.. thoroughly enjoyed.
08/06/2026: Beautiful hotel and great friendly and professional service from all. It was such a pleasure to spend a few days here. Food was excellent and the location is perfect for walking around Killarney. right beside the train station too if you don't have a car.

Worth booking and making a detour. Great value 2 and 3 course options and amazing bread and butter included.

18/05/2026: I had a wonderful meal at this quaint pub located right on the Dingle seafront. I ordered a truly spectacular fish chowder, accompanied by an excellent, expertly poured Guinness. The interior is decorated in traditional Irish style, warm and welcoming. The service was also noteworthy, really fast and efficient despite the place being packed. Highly recommended.

The food is pretty much the same as in any other pub, but having tried several, including three in Kenmare, this one really stands out for the quality of its ingredients. Plus, it's cheaper than other pubs. They have a great live band playing Irish-style pop-rock covers. The pork ribs with homemade BBQ sauce were absolutely excellent. The service was a little slow, but that's a welcome change from other pubs where you're rushed through!

17/08/2026: Great time here for dinner. Food was delicious and reasonably priced for a more touristy location. The real stars go to Oisin and Connor for a fantastic live music set-great musicians, involving the audience and creating a great atmosphere.
16/08/2026: Had lunch here on a recent trip to Killarney. Have been before, but this time had our young family with us (6yr old and 3mth old). Staff could not have been more accommodating. Did nit have a booking for Wednesday, lunchtime.
Husband had wings, which were delicious. I had crab and smoked salmon open sandwich, which was generous in portion size and so fresh and delicious. Very reasonably priced and a great atmosphere in the pub. The servers were fantastic. Highly recommend!
