25/07/2025: Visited with my mum today and Pat’s Cafe truly exceeded our expectations! The staff were incredibly attentive and lovely from the moment we stepped in, making us feel right at home. The décor is tasteful and spotless, creating a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere. Our meals were fantastic—the portions were absolutely huge and delicious, perfect for anyone who loves great food. You couldn’t ask for nicer people or a better dining experience. The only tip I’d offer: bring cash, as it keeps things simple. A fantastic business we’ll be eager to return to!

11/09/2025: I was in Dublin for the first time, walking about doing tourist things. I got hungry and Ryan’s pub was at hand. I didn’t Yelp or Google it beforehand because any old lunch would do. I had the chowder, which was magnificent. Being new to Ireland, I assumed all Irish chowder would be the same: wrong! A really standout meal!!!

05/10/2025: Great traditional pub in lovely surroundings. The history of Tom Crean was brilliant to see and so well laid out throughout the bar. I got lost just reading all about his exploits all over again. The drink was great too!

Her lovely personality really stood out and made us feel welcome from start to finish. The service was brilliant and truly enhanced the whole visit. The food was also very nice. 07/03/2026: More than 5 stars, really! I was here many years ago and it was lovely back then. This week we are back, while the perfect location has not changed, everything is completely updated and fresh, clean and spacious. Bathrooms and showers are state of art. Firm comfortable beds, with beautiful ecstatics. Dinner in the pub, downstairs, was fresh, hot and delicious. Thank you,especially Grainne at breakfast, simply the best!
