18/03/2025: If you’re intoseafood, Out of the Blue in Dingle is a must-visit. It’s got that perfect mix of casual charm and high-quality food. Everything is fresh and depends on what’s available that day. We went all in on the seafood and weren’t disappointed. The scallops were cooked beautifully, tender and full of flavor, and the grilled oysters with spicy tomato sauce were a highlight.. The seabass and halibut were both excellent, cooked just right with rich, buttery sauces. Drinks-wise, we had a couple of bottles of Riesling, which paired well with everything. Desserts were simple but hit the spot after all the seafood. Service was friendly and efficien. The atmosphere is relaxed but has that nice touch of something special. The bill came to €300, which is on the pricier side, but for seafood this fresh and well-prepared, it felt worth it. Overall, if you’re in Dingle and love seafood, Out of the Blue is well worth a visit. Just be ready to spend a bit, and definitely book in advance!
