Really nice fish and chips, the flavor y is amazing and the crust is crispy while the fish is juicy inside. I would preferred a little bit of chatting and not just order by machine. But that's just a personal opinion nothing really important about the food or place. I would definitely be back soon

Based on travel experience, seeing this food truck, they were usually the good ones, and boy am I glad to be correct again. Lucky to be in time as it opens after we were done exploring the aquarium nearby.
We came at a busy lunch rush, but they provided an ordering machine for ease of purchase, much appreciated. Very intuitive to use, shouldn’t be causing able person too much problem. Wait time was fair, I don’t really mind that.
Menu was simple; fish and chips, chips only, soft drinks. Probably water as well, couldn’t remember. We went for fish and chips, with soft drinks. Price was reasonable.
Food was excellent, one of the better fish and chips I’ve had in Ireland. Fish was fresh, no fishy smell at all, (I think it was hake), even my picky-eater wife finished hers. Served hot as it should be. Portion was generous, but a 60-70kg person should be able to finish it no problem. Batter was light and crisp, with batter bits as garnish which I enjoyed.
Chips was surprisingly crispy, considering it’s the typical thick hand-cut chips characteristic of Ireland. You have to season it with salt to your taste. I was impressed by whatever vinegar brand they used, very light, complimenting the dish very well, not like the typical pungent vinegar used everywhere else.
They provided sitting area around the truck, with salt and vinegar on the table to use. They provided wooden cutlery and other condiments like tartar sauce, mayonnaise and ketchup at the counter. You don’t really need the condiments if I’m being honest, just salt and vinegar should be enough to complete the meal.
In short, definitely would recommend. I would say the sunny weather helped this review as well, since it adds to the atmosphere greatly. The guy operating the truck was friendly enough, considering it was very busy.

The best fish and chips I’ve had in over 30 years. Absolutely Fabulous! FRESH fish as advertised! And what a difference that makes. Considering we ate fish and chips by the ocean and seaports on many occasions, this was the only instance of it being fFRESHLY CAUGHT. Plus the chips were real potatoes perfectly thick cut and fried. Not greasy! Eat at a picnic table or take to the harbour. This ended up being the best meal we had during our entire10 day trip to Ireland.

This is essentially a chipper van with a few picnic tables outside, which is grand. It was quite busy and we found the food quite expensive for what it was. However in the heart of Dingle you would expect to pay over the odds.
The fish was good, fresh and hot, but the frozen chips were a major disappointment. Nice to be able to sit outside with the dog and eat with the tourists.

U wanna fish'n'chips? Dingle Ahoy! Fish & Chips is the place to experience it. Fresh, juicy, just... mouth watering. But you must have it with plenty of vinegar.
This was my and my wife's second time here but we're convinced that we'll come back for more.
