23/10/2025: The food was delicious. The service was excellent and very friendly. The place is cozy and the decor is beautiful.

15/10/2025: ​This cafe is a must-visit! The lunch menu is wonderfully diverse and delicious, offering high quality across the board. We especially enjoyed the flavourful Asian Miss Thi's soba salad—a true standout. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is simply lovely: super cozy, relaxed, and welcoming. It has a great vibe and worth seeking out for a coffee, pastry, breakfast or lunch.

09/11/2025: Great place to stay! Barman Ray, wears many hats. He checked us in, even helped me with my bags upstairs, then informed us of breakfast hours in the morning. Clean, comfortable, and centrally located in city centre. Nice hot breakfast to start the next day. Friendly service by all. We would definitely stay again. Thank you.

02/11/2025: We had an amazing dinner, with food & drinks. 4 adults & 2 kids. Prices are definetly = to meal poetion size, and it was very delisious.

07/09/2025: Had a very enjoyable 3 night stay recently. Very comfortable beds in a beautiful room which had all the facilities required. Breakfast was excellent also the evening meal (salmon) was delicious. The staff are amazing they are so friendly & helpful which adds to the enjoyment. Leonard is the perfect host. We highly recommend this hotel as it is on a par with 4* hotels. We will definitely stay here again. Ann & Mary.

05/12/2025: Used to be a decent place, but had sit down meal few weeks ago and they didn’t have anything we wanted, I mean what sort of a place has no chicken one night, any how I thought it was just a once off but got again this week as a takeaway this time and it was horrible the chicken on pizza was disgusting and the pizza itself was soft and tasted awful, only ate one slice this place is gone severely down hill. Will not be coming back no more there is much better options in this area

31/10/2025: Perfecta pizza in unusual place. This pizza place inside a church is truly one of a kind! The atmosphere is absolutely unique, blending history and delicious food in the most wonderful way. The pizza is incredibly tasty. Fresh ingredients, perfect crust, and full of flavor. It’s an unforgettable experience that combines great taste with an amazing setting.

12/12/2025: Luxurious hotel! Absolutely stunning foyer, bedrooms are so beautiful…feel like royalty! Walk in shower, comfortable beds and pillows. The Christmas touches are so nice. The restaurant is also lovely, food is delicious, service wonderful so we booked a table for the next night!

11/11/2025: My family and I have been going here for 3 or 5 years now , since we have been camping in wave crest the campsite beside this restaurant and camping area . The service has changed to always being rushed and we are always told before we head to our seats that we need the table back at this time . This cuts the mood , the food has been good but not up until this year the food for me on the menu hasn’t changed. You want something to catch you off guard like a sensation that’s bursting with flavour in your mouth that will make you hungry for more . The food is bland and tastes the same , they don’t add new flavours or experiment with new textures . The atmosphere is what you expect from a pub , everyone is lively and having fun with each other while drinking a pint or two . The service is poor there’s not that many staff there when you want to ask for something and if you did ask for something it would be a while until they get back to you .

27/10/2025: BEWARE OF CLAMPING OF CARS This is a nice place. The food looked good. We enjoyed the views, atmosphere etc. Lovely pint of Guinness…. That being said I would advise people to beware of the parking situation here…. I saw a couple of cars yesterday had been clamped. There was a “no parking” sign yes — but nothing more. I saw a few cars had parked there and they were clamped. There are no warning signs for the public warning of ‘clamping in operation’, no release fee stated, no phone number stated, no parking management company name stated etc etc… I wonder how legal this type of practice is, and I wonder how many tourists have been swindled out of a few quid, and were perhaps too polite or too embarrassed to argue it? There should be better signage erected. People need to be aware of the consequences of parking illegally in such a remote area of the country. There is no fairness about this practice in my opinion.

08/10/2025: The Lagom Townhomes is a fantastic place to stay. Nice views, big and clean room, friendly and delightful host (Brandon), easy parking, excellent bathroom, perfect location, and tasty breakfast (and exquisite dinner). At dinner, the short rib was amazing. We look forward to coming back soon!
