08/09/2026: Great few days at this 3star Eviston Hotel We had a 4star experience between the very helpful staff especially Jennifer Asst Manager who oversaw the staff and food in the Danny Mann restaurant The entertainment in the Restaurant was very enjoyable The breakfasts were really nice All in all we had a great few days and we will be back

07/09/2026: Went for dinner here and brought our dog. Peter was so accommodating and friendly . The doggy area is a nice touch and the service was amazing.🥰

01/06/2026: I can’t give enough starts for the meadowlands and their staff. Exceptionally clean, comfortable and welcoming. Great food and lovely bar. Highly recommend to anyone.

14/08/2026: Food was delicious!! The atmosphere so very cozy and it was in the perfect location to stop in and grab a bite to eat after walking through the gap of Dunloe! Such a beautiful area and great food! The mocha was delicious too! The staff were all amazing! Super attentive and all around good people!

21/08/2026: Wow, can I give 10 stars for service? Wonderful folks. The food was delicious! Pad see ew, bang bang chicken, duck red curry, calamari…all fabulous. We are in town for a few days and this was our favorite non-Irish meal!

16/08/2026: A truly wonderful place for a special occasion. You pay more but boy is it worth it. Fabulous food and wine, fully attentive staff.The owner is hands on,which is a lovely touch. Highly recommend..go enjoy

16/08/2026: The place is located at the entrance to the gorge road, making it very convenient for leaving the car, walking the route, and then having dinner. The pub atmosphere is quaint, and they even have live performances with traditional dances (very nice), but the food is poor (the worst stews we've had in Ireland) and the service is terrible (we waited over 40 minutes for the only dish we ordered, and the waiters were rude).

18/08/2026: We have been here while Rose of Tralle festival to pick up some drinks. It was really crowded but I think you can have food time when not that crowded, too.

13/08/2026: Traditional pub, great for lunch, inexpensive, quick and efficient service. Very friendly staff.

15/07/2026: Gluten pizza which was v.nice for a random pub. Service was ok, you order from an app but it was lovely sitting in the pub garden in the sun.

15/07/2026: Wonderful stay at ODonnabhain’s. The hosts, Jer and Vanessa, along with the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable during our 3 night stay. Perfectly located in Kenmare, day trips to the Ring of Kerry and the Beara were possible.

19/08/2026: We’ve only been there once so far, and we had a mushroom soup and it was very good. The place is really nice and clean, and the outdoor seating is lovely. The staff were very friendly, and there’s plenty of parking. We’ll definitely stop there again next time!

19/08/2026: The perfect place for lunch after a hike in the Gap of Dunloe. The floor-to-ceiling windows let in plenty of light and create a very welcoming atmosphere. Good food, generous portions, friendly and attentive staff. Average prices, private parking available.

19/08/2026: Best lamb I’ve ever had. Delish artichoke soup! Grateful for well-prepared hake in a delish sauce But the cheeseboard was strange (and had no explanation of which cheese was which) because it came with onions and an almost tomato sauce thingie that didn’t go with the cheese… Also: why was the place pushing hot sauce so much? And where did the tasting menu from the website go?)

18/08/2026: The hake was the best fish I've ever tasted. The sauce and vegetables were beyond impressive. Nothing was out of place.

29/05/2026: There’s a free art tour given at 5pm which was incredible - Jonathan’s knowledge was very impressive and just an all round great bloke. Would’ve given a hefty tip if we had any cash! Followed by a few of the best cocktails I’ve ever had in my life - the 1958. Tastes like a spicy marg, looks like a martini. Stunning hotel and the staff were all class, we’d definitely come to stay next time.

27/05/2026: Sensational few days! Service was top class, food was perfect. Staff couldn’t have looked after us any better!

19/08/2026: We stumbled upon this place today while driving the Ring of Kerry and were thrilled! The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was very friendly and welcoming (but they won't be there much longer 😭). Highly recommended!!!

19/08/2026: Everything was delicious! The Atlantic salmon and lamb were incredibly tender.

28/05/2026: Another Irish pub with great food. But like most pubs we've visited, the meals are quite pricey by Canadian standards. But the food here (as with most pubs) is perfectly prepared and nicely presented. One BIG difference in an Irish pub is the speed of service. It seems no sooner do you order than the meal is brought out. And it never tastes like it's been sitting under warming lamps. Unbelievable service. The Brogue in was even faster than others. And I have to mention our waitress, Shauna, who was exceptional. Very attentive, friendly and helpful. All in all, an amazing dinner experience.

28/05/2026: Excellent service, friendly staff who were busy but made sure we were well looked after. We had the black and blue burger and the kingdom burger. Black and blue burger was great, Kingdom burger was fantastic, lots of flavour fresh chicken excellent.

10/07/2026: Both hotel and restaurant are so underrated. I stayed at 6 different hotels while driving through Ireland and this was my favorite accommodation and meal. Had the pleasure of staying in the Orange room. Room was spacious, modernly decorated, and clean. The smart TV with streaming services available was a nice amenity that not a lot of other hotels offered. The breakfast in the mini fridge and the pastries dropped off at night were such a nice touch and so delicious too. Once we arrived, staff guided us to the private parking lot behind the building, helped us settle into our room and fit us into a last minute table at the restaurant. The food was amazing. We ordered from their specials menu and everything tasted so fresh that we devoured all the dishes. I was certainly sad to be just staying for one night as it was the most comfortable stay I had during my trip.

09/07/2026: We had a delicious pizza here last night on our visit to Kerry. A beautiful setting also. Old church and friendly staff. I recommend the pudding pizza

08/07/2026: It could have been 5 stars if: The pizza dough resembled a cheap supermarket tarte flambée dough, and the topping was neither plentiful nor tasty. There are much better frozen pizzas! So, only 2 stars remain: For the location and the friendly service. What a shame!
