Very good chowder and one of the best pulled pork burgers ever!

Very nice pub. Smiling and attentive staff. Music not too loud, so you can have a conversation. The Irish stew is very good. And the rooms (either upstairs or in the building opposite) are very pleasant, quiet, and have very comfortable beds.

A really great pub and restaurant! The breakfast was very good, even quite generous. The establishment rents rooms just a few meters away.

Great place to eat, the service might be a little slow but the staff are super friendly. Plus, the waiter gave me a free glass of Guinness.

The Irish stew and the seafood chowder were very good. The burger and steak sandwich are not recommended.

We stayed in Behans Horseshoe Bar during Listowel Writers week. Our stay was most enjoyable. Clean, friendly, helpful, quiet, and hospitable. We did not eat in the bar as we had made other arrangements, but were sorry as we heard from different sources that the food was A1. We would recommend this BnB highly . Mairin Scully & Brid Martin .
