17/08/2026: Very nice pub. Smiling and attentive staff. Music not too loud, so you can have a conversation. The Irish stew is very good. And the rooms (either upstairs or in the building opposite) are very pleasant, quiet, and have very comfortable beds.

Can not fault it! Lovely menu with specials that change all the time, and an extensive wine menu!
We would definitely recommend a visit!

Doreen provided fantastic service throughout our stay, and Linda was a brilliant host. We really enjoyed our time here and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

16/08/2026: I recently went to Éabha Jones restaurant and was extremely disappointed and unsatisfied by the experience. I was waiting to collect food through their takeaway service in their front room where there is an opening to view the kitchen. I was shocked and appalled to see the chef cleaning leftover dirt off the serving plate by locking his finger and rubbing it against the plate. This happened numerous times which leads me to believe it is a common accurance in the kitchen. This behavior is absolutely unacceptable and highly disturbing. It goes against the health and safety rules and puts customers AT RISK . I am disgusted by this behavior and will not be returning here again after this experience. All staff should be highly trained surrounding health and safety precautions and something as disgusting as this should not occur especially in the food industry!!!
15/08/2026: A very good dinner. Fish dishes (especially sea bass) were well prepared with chorizo and vegetables.

Ok facade, but then led up manky stairs to 'reception area' ✅

Fake looking chicken ✅
Read Google reviews and decided this was not a good idea to eat ✅
Disposed of said food in on street bin ✅

05/10/2024: We have been using this fantastic take away for about 10 years. The food is delicious. The man that runs it is class. He is so lovely to us always both on the phone and in person. Love this place. Would give it 10 stars if possible. Love it, love it, love it.
