O'Carrolls Cakes

19/10/2024: Received a surprise package from someone as a present of O'Carrolls delicious treats. What can I say only....WOW!! Their chunky treats with layers of cookies,brownies, caramel sauce and chocolate toppings are just amazing. No words. Absolute perfection with a cup of tea. Will definitely be purchasing from this company in the future again ☺️
11/10/2024: Ordered a Birthday cake from O Carrolls as we were staying in Killarney. Very easy and pleasant to deal with. CAKE delivered to the hotel on the day and it was beautiful.

We were there on a Wednesday evening at around 8 p.m. and just managed to find space for five people. It was well attended and it wasn't just tourists.

19/10/2024: My husband and I have just had the most exquisite dinner at this stunning restaurant. The dining experience coupled with the position of the restaurant was quite magical. The food was wonderfully fresh, appetising and beautifully presented. Henry Hunt is an incredibly talented chef. We stayed the night and were also treated to a breakfast to remember. Thank you to everyone at The Smugglers who made our stay one to remember. Goodies, you must try this restaurant. We will be back. Massive thank you from both of us. What a find.

08/09/2024: Rancid seafood experience. Ordered seafood risotto, came out 30 minutes after ordering tasted rancid and had an off putting Smokey flavour, it was also laced with a copious amount of black pepper. No fresh fish in it. I complained about it and was made to wait another 30 minutes for a chowder which was no better. Potato soup at best, with at least 2 stalks of celery and the staple black pepper one piece of fish which took me 5 minutes to find. Incredibly disappointing experience considering I am in that area frequently and could not fault any other establishment. The food was shocking bad and the service was not amazing either. Avoid the seafood there is all k can say
24/08/2024: What a place, friendly staff, amazing food, and the chicken carnation wrap along with the garlic cheese chips are very well worth mentioning what a place we go to ballybunion and this in our collective opinions is the best option for lunch with seating in and outside and I great communal vibe all and all a place worth reviewing with 5 stars, I would give 6 if I could.😁👌

06/08/2024: Had a lovely stay here while on a work trip. The hotel itself is located just a short walk from the town it’s self the rooms are spotless and offers a lovely bar on the hotel grounds.
29/07/2024: Excellent Hotel to a very high standard. Dropped in for lunch on the way from Tralee. However the service was poor. Alot of staff but very disorganised.

21/10/2024: The Lazy Cat Café is a really lovely, cosy café. They have the best coffee in Cahersiveen and always have a selection of freshly baked cakes. I ordered a birthday cake for my son recently that surpassed out expectations. We could choose from several cake types and any form of decoration that we wanted. We choose the strawberry cream cake, which was light, fresh and delicious. The appearance of the cake was absolutely fantastic too. I cannot recommend this business highly enough.

08/09/2024: What can be said about this place is that it is unique. Old Church of Ireland. Food? Well, this is something special. Despite the late hour, the cook did a great job. There's no need for a photo because it wouldn't show the extra flavor. Salmon tartare with caviar delighted the taste buds. Non-alcoholic mojito perfection. We cordially invite and encourage everyone to eat something.

01/11/2024: We had one of the best meals of our recent UK/Ireland/ European trip at Fentons in Dingle. Wonderful service and the food and wine options were superb. Highly recommend this lovely restaurant and the staff were friendly and attentive.
