04/12/2025: An Exceptional Stay, Made Perfect by Outstanding Service I had the pleasure of staying at The Brehon Hotel & Spa on Monday, 1st December 2025, and the experience was nothing short of amazing from start to finish. The standout element was undoubtedly the incredible service. A huge thank you to Bojana, whose support was truly above and beyond. From assisting seamlessly with my check in to ensuring every detail of my stay was perfect, her professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness made a significant difference. It’s staff like Bojana who transform a great hotel into an exceptional one. The hotel itself is beautiful, but the spa facilities are in a league of their own. Without a doubt, this is the best SPA facility I have ever experienced. Every aspect was pristine, calming, and of the highest quality, providing the perfect retreat. My stay was an absolute delight, and I left feeling completely rejuvenated. I cannot recommend The Brehon Hotel & Spa highly enough and look forward to returning in the future. Thank you for a memorable experience.

18/03/2026: Food was excellent. Walked in on mother's day and they were able to accommodate us. Staff were very friendly and service was very quick. Ordered the fish and chips and it was very good, the others with me ordered the roast beef and I was jealous it looks so good. Beautiful lean and tender slices of beef with all the trimmings, looked and tasted excellent.

15/03/2026: Was here for a work trip. Nice clean rooms, good gym facilities and good menu. Breakfast in the morning offered a very good variety and proximity to services and amenities was excellent. Staff were helpful and pleasant. I’d be happy to stay here again

08/11/2025: Was redirected to patcheens after attempting foleys which stopped food for the season. Very glad it came recommended so we didnt have yo go all the way into dingle proper for a meal. Great cozy atmosphere, some table games for kids, tvs around to show the game, delicious pizza and wings! And top notch service 👌 you can also carry out cans as they have a off license attached. Tucked away in a sleepy quiet town but very much worth a stop in if looking for good atmosphere and delicious grub

27/08/2025: A great pub to add to your list to visit in anascaul, lovely food on offer and good quirky decor. Not as big as some but plenty of seating areas.

03/12/2025: Lovely location and accommodating staff. Booked the suite and the whole hotel was decorated in the spirit of Christmas which was lovely. Just one minor suggestion: Consider partnering with local artists for artwork to be added to rooms and potentially it being able to be research via qr code and purchased.

02/12/2025: Room was very comfortable, the perfect size with plenty of space, but not too big. Excellent bathroom. Service at the hotel were excellent. All staff were outstanding, very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent, poached egg and avocado was delicious, eggs perfectly cooked. Having access to the swimming pool at the Great Southern was a great bonus and it is only across the road from the townhouse.

22/03/2026: Gorgeous hotel, the lady at the front desk was so friendly and really helpful when we had to change our dinner reservations. The food was absolutely delicious, big portions and reasonably priced and they even put the left over pizza into a pizza box for us to bring back with us!

09/03/2026: Had our child's christening here recently. From the set up to the food, the service to the atmosphere, it was faultless. Some kind words from the new owners was the icing on the cake of a beautiful day. Wish Bobby and Nancy the best of luck with the future. Great to see the historic hotel is in safe hands.

02/12/2025: I’m a wedding DJ and get to play in Ballyseede Castle quite regularly. Mary and Paul are A class wedding coordinators and things always run very smoothly on the day. There is always a great atmosphere around the venue and the staff here are very sociable with guests.

02/12/2025: After viewing a few venues before, we knew from the moment we arrived at Ballyseede Castle that this was where we wanted to get married. The venue is absolutely stunning, but what truly made it exceptional was the staff. From our first tour to planning the final details, they were incredible. The bridal suite where we got ready was massive and beautiful, which made the morning feel so relaxed and special. The Belfry, where we had our ceremony, was also amazing and created the perfect setting. They made sure both we and our guests were having an amazing time, and the entire day ran like clockwork. They worked with all our vendors so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Many of our guests also told us it was the best wedding dinner they had ever had. We can’t thank the team enough, and we will definitely be back for a visit in the future. To anyone considering booking Ballyseede, you won’t regret it.

15/03/2026: Made a reservation to find out they booked a different time on the system to what i had booked for. So we left and came back an hour later which didnt bother us too much. A sorry about this or some acknowlement would of been nice but the staff seemed a bit cold. Food was lovely. Floors and bathroom were not very clean. Our waitress was very nice. We spent a nice bit of money there and when leaving we did not even get a goodbye or thanks from the staff. Will not be returning here, very disappointing

31/10/2025: Amazing seafood. Up with the best across Ireland. Black sole, scallops, potted crab all amazing. But the star of the show is the chowder. I've tried a lot of chowder across West Cork, Clare, Galway and Connemara and to me this is the best chowder I've ever had. It has more lemon to it than others I've had before but was beautifully balanced and loaded with seafood. Had to go back a 2nd time to have it again, when in the area. Top notch.

03/03/2026: I visited here with 6 other friends on a Saturday evening and I honestly cannot recommend enough. We had an array of different foods. Each better than the next! We had plenty of cocktails and all absolutely stunning. The service was second to none, such friendly waiters and even ordering cocktails which can be time consuming in a lot of places but here there was absolutely no delay. We all loved our evening here and I will definitely be returning in the near future. Thanks to all the staff for a fabulous meal and excellent service.

09/02/2026: This restaurant was really nice and a pleasant change from the loud pubs nearby. Our greeting was warm and professional, and we were seated immediately.. both my husband and I enjoyed steak for dinner. The taste of the steak as well as a char grilled flavor was outstanding. The host could not have been nicer.. She offered me a taste of the Irish stew before ordering it as I told her I was not a big fan of lamb generally. The Guinness was perfect, as was the Dingle gin and tonic, which I enjoyed.

07/12/2025: I had dinner at the Anchor Bar recently and it was a great experience. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed evening meal. We ordered the turkey and ham, and the fish and chips — both dishes were generous, tasty, and well prepared. A reliable spot for classic, hearty food.

03/09/2025: It was a great family outing and a way to spend an hour exploring. Crag Cave is marvellous and very reasonably priced. The self directed tour is a nice idea - the kids ( and us , their parents ) really enjoyed it ! We'd recommend it.

23/11/2025: I was there yesterday during work break, we filmed the concert in the church across the road. I had apple slice and it was absolutely fresh and beautiful and made with real apples, which reminded me of my grandma's one. Really cool ambient, cat themed cafe and friendly staff. Would visit again if I'm ever in town!

19/11/2025: Stopped in for a coffee and a scone. Lovely cafe and filled with friendly locals. Scone was 10/10!
