Excellent hotel, in a great location with really good food and friendly staff.

Impossible to fault anything about our stay, from the moment we walked in until the moment we left everything was perfect. First off the staff absolute professionals, they made us feel like this was the hundredth time we'd visited and were old friends (and by the time we left we genuinely felt like we were). The building itself was impeccable, there was not one single thing out of place, not one item was in need of repair, not one thing that didn't work, looked shabby or had just been put down until someone gets back to it. You can just tell that this is a place that is run by people who really do care and it shows in every aspect of the stay. This is the type of place we'd come back to every year if we lived around this part of the world.

An absolutely perfect stay with Killeen House. Jersey, Egli, Seamus, Roy and Elaine made our stay so incredibly memorable with their exceptional service and they made us feel like family from the moment we walked in the door. We spent a week here celebrating our honeymoon and I could not recommend this place more. It’s best if you’re visiting with a car but there is a nearby bus and the staff will happily call a taxi if you need to get anywhere. The food in the fine dining restaurant was unbelievably good and they went out of their way with my husband to pull out a few extra special things during it to make it even more memorable. The bar food is equally as delicious in a more casual setting and drinking in the bar playing cards is one of the best ways to end a busy day adventuring. We will be visiting Killeen House for years to come and can’t wait to get back!

This stay - (we chose the 2 nights with a 3 course dinner stay} was certainly one of the highlights of our trip. We arrived to find that they had electric car charging at very reasonable rates, the 3 course dinner was simply.... any appetizer, any main and any dessert!! And all of the food was excellent. The service from Eileen at the front desk,Egli in the restaurant, and Xhersi in the bar was excellent. These young folks took care of everything..... They were great. The room, the location, and the grounds were all excellent. I would recommend this establishment to anybody looking to stay near Killarney National park or the Ring of Kerry. Thanks to all for such a pleasant stay.

Our experience was quite wonderful. The location is quite idyllic yet close to the town and other points of interest (that we wanted to go to). The food was great and the staff was super helpful. They take service to the next level effortlessly. Special mention here for Xhersi! Our child felt happy there and the staff was attentive to him. We would love to go back sometime.

Great and quiet small hotel 5 minutes away from Killarney. Dog friendly. Staff very attentive and helpful. We couldn't ask for anything else.

We only went to the restaurant. But we went twice, because the staff, food and location were so nice. The Rozzers was a good surprise on our holiday trip in Kerry. The staff is extremely nice and professional and genuine. The food was very good, with the chef clearly interested in cooking, using fresh products (the prawn cocktail is proof of it). The onion soup is excellent, the Eton mess really nice, but really we didn't have an issue with the food. The restaurant room itself is very cosy and comfortable, with a nice garden view. Our son, who's very interested in food, insisted we eat there again after the first time. So did we, and didn't regret it. It really is a great, and quieter, alternative to the bigger restaurants around Killarney. We will be returning in the future here, since they are also dog friendly in the hotel. A feel good place.
