19/02/2026: We enjoyed an amazingly delicious pan-seared Hake special. Ambiance is comfortable and dinner was unrushed with service just when required. As the dinner rush ended the musicians tuned up for a great evening of good craic! Loved the Guinness and warm chat with the Proprietor.

06/08/2025: Beautiful people baking Beautiful bread! I sampled their brown bread whilst eating in a Cahirsiveen and it was delicious! Eventually found out where it came from and called here this morning to be greeted by two lovely people! I cannot wait to get home and eat it!

09/10/2025: McMunns restaurant was our favourite restaurant on our Ireland trip! The food was sensational, could not fault it. The drinks, the service, everything was fantastic. There were 4 of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Ballybunion.

25/07/2025: Would definitely put this as the top place in Tralee for any planned parties or a bit! Had day 2 of the wedding there and Neil & the lads looked after us excellently!! They had us hooked from the minute we went in the door lastbyear to scope out venues for Day 2. Great areas in McCaffreys and the option to spread out to the yard bar or Sean Ogs is fantastic too. Neil is some operator to manage the lot but every one at the bar is tuned in yo be fair

26/10/2025: Ordered the piri piri chicken burger described as chicken breast in panko breadcrumbs, sounded delicious and I stupidly presumed it was home made from the elaborate description, it was not, it was basically a highly processed birds eye style chicken burger in batter, dry bun with a scraping of tasteless, what I presume was piri piri and a leaf of lettuce, that was it, there were plenty cheapest of the cheap frozen chips and some weird tomato and onion salad, €19.00, absolute rip off, was basically cheap chipper food done badly. If I go to a restaurant I expect something I can't make from the freezer at home, would not recommend. My friend did have the stir fry which she said was nice hense the 2 stars.

27/05/2025: One of our favourite spots in Tralee. The owner is super friendly and they have a wonderful range of fresh dishes! I can just recommend it if you are into carefully prepared delicious food. Also very nice atmosphere.
