28/07/2026: We've just had a gorgeous experience at Strollers in teach de brock. Lovely welcome, great chat & drinks at the bar. Then dinner. Exquisite breads, Calamari, Ceasars Salad, followed by perfect steaks, massive crunchy onion rings, smashed potatoes. Leave room as you can't resist the dessert trolley. Great wine list too & all of this in gorgeous surroundings & the nicest, very efficient people serving us. Loved it!

14/07/2026: The service was exceptional. The food absolutely delicious. Ensure to leave a little capacity for the deserts, you must try the menu, it is special. 😋

16/06/2026: Great pub - it's almost exclusively people from the neighborhood in this pub - they all know each other - you're immediately integrated into this community => I felt totally comfortable and laughed a lot.

22/08/2026: We stopped here by chance and were pleasantly surprised by what we found. A non-touristy, traditional, and informal place, we had a slice of meat accompanied by some side dishes, a burger, and a slice of cake for dessert. Everything was delicious and homemade. We highly recommend these dishes.

09/06/2026: This hotel is only facilitating weddings and events. If you are couples they don't want to know. We stayed on Friday and Saturday night. We were told because of a wedding Friday night we had to eat at 6:30pm in the bar. Fair enough we facilitated their request. Saturday we went in for lunch and were told we would be waiting at least an hour for lunch because of a 100 person funeral that were in. Needless to say we went into the village and had a lovely lunch and a few drinks. Lovely setting for a hotel but not very accommodating. Maybe just set yourself as an event destination rather than a couples hotel.

07/08/2025: Arrived at 1:15 and had the place to ourselves. Best oysters we have had in Ireland, and that's high praise. Food was delicious, our server, John, was excellent, and cannot recommend highly enough.

05/08/2025: Absolutely terrific service and fabulous food. Good value too. Don't miss a meal here when visiting Killarney. The fish is first class and so fresh.

31/05/2026: Nice little hotel. Located right on the main road. Tourists partying until 3 a.m., constant truck and bus traffic make for a very noisy night. To top it all off, directly opposite is the local wheelbarrow vendor who starts loading his wheelbarrows with bricks from a distance of 10 meters at 5 a.m. Surely he's getting revenge on the revelers. It's a shame because the girls put in a lot of effort.

25/05/2026: Our golf group stayed at McSweeny Arms and we loved it!! Kelly Anne and her staff were the best. Cant imagine staying anywhere else. Rioms were prefect and the breakfast was first class! Red Breast nightcaps were a hit as well. Eight grumpy ole men absolutely loved it!! tc

06/09/2026: On holiday from England and so pleased we found this place. Excellent food, great service and a lovely atmosphere. If you come to Sneem this is where you need to eat.

11/08/2026: Wonderful venue for our wedding celebration We held day two of our wedding at Kenmare Golf Club and couldn't have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, everything was handled brilliantly. The bar staff were absolutely excellent - attentive, friendly, and kept everything running smoothly throughout the evening . The room itself is lovely, and the setting overlooks some beautiful grounds. It provided exactly the right backdrop for celebrating with our guests. The barbecue was fantastic, great food, well-organised, and it brought everyone together in a really relaxed, enjoyable way. What struck us most was how seamlessly the whole evening came together. Nothing was a hassle, and the team clearly knows how to host an event properly. If you're looking for a venue in Kerry for a wedding celebration or special occasion, I'd highly recommend Kenmare Golf Club without hesitation. A really memorable evening .

06/04/2026: I had an amazing experience at V&J. The view was absolutely incredible and made the whole stay even more special. What really stood out were the little details — everything was thoughtfully arranged and added a unique touch that you don’t often find. The kindness and warm welcome from the cooples made a huge difference as well. They were attentive, friendly, and made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived.
