15/03/2025: A unique pub in Tralee, a must when visiting the town.

30/10/2024: Good pub with a pool table and dart board. The locals are real characters! Good selection of beers on offer.

01/02/2025: Myself and my husband got married in Jacks in September 2024! From the start to finish, Brian and wedding Co-ordinater Pauline were absolutely amazing! The planning process was easy and smooth. We wanted a unique venue with great food, views of the sea and mountains and honestly couldn’t have chosen a better venue! Our guests said the food was one of the best they had at any wedding. Cod and Steaks cooked to perfection and amazing service! Thanks again to all the staff for such an amazing day!

04/04/2025: Beautiful, formal hotel and estate. We had an enjoyable stay on a family trip. We enjoyed having dinner at the hotel as well and were traveling with young kids. The room was beautiful and the details were well cared for. We were there during a large event and didn't feel forgotten or out of place while there which was important to our stay. The kids loved the dogs.

03/04/2025: Amazing stay last week. My room was lovely, the view was great, service was fantastic and breakfast was exceptional. Best of all were the Irish wolfhounds. I would absolutely recommend and if I am ever lucky enough to go to Ireland again, I would return here.

30/12/2024: Very impressive dinner. The kids had chicken goujons. Always good to see real chicken - lovely breadcrumb, too. We had chowder, fish cakes & the veggie curry. All lovely. Chowder was packed with seafood.

21/12/2024: Geraldine and Liam were very good barkeeps. The atmosphere, ambience, and food were amazing. First time visiting from the states and stopped in for a pint and to use the bathroom. Ended up staying for several hours due to the amazing staff and food. If anyone is in the area I would highly recommend.

06/02/2025: First off apologies for this extremely late review , we stayed good few weeks back , the time of the epic snow . However the experience still is as fresh as if it were last weekend . What an absolute treat and one of the nicest hotel and restaurant experiences. First off Louise in reception was a gem , a really lovely welcome and we were invited to have a welcome drink in the bar or foyer . We had our drink by the lovely fire and to be honest we totally lost track of time and would have relaxed there for longer except we wanted to settle in our room and hit the spa. I was celebrating some good news and Louise and the reservations team made sure there were a few treats in our extra special room 🥰 we relaxed there for a few hours before deciding to try out the spa , all which was very lovely and enticed us to book a yoga class for the following morning . After our wonderful few hours we decided to go back to the room and get ready for dinner . The dining room is really gorgeous , and the staff are proper 5 star attentive , the food was sublime , everything hit the mark and we ate with relish. After dinner we decided to have a few drinks in the lounge as there was a fabulous pianist , such a gorgeous atmosphere. We retired to our room and had such a great nights sleep in a super cosy bed . Breakfast the following morning was also delicious and plentiful. As the snow was really down that day the restaurant manager went up and beyond to advise us the best way out of Kenmare to get back to Killarney , his advice was much appreciated and spot on . Thank you to all for making this one of the nicest 5 star stays I have had in a while . From start to finish it was perfection and looking forward to returning

31/03/2025: We had a lovely Christening here. The staff were extremely accommodating, we have a lovely private dining room at the back of the pub. They were very helpful in helping us set up in advance and the food was excellent. Thanks to all the team!

02/02/2025: Hosts the local foxhunting thugs so this place doesn't deserve anyone's custom. Also doesn't allow dogs, but a guide dog is ok. The local knuckle draggers will like it

02/03/2025: Called here after lovely visit to Donegal Castle I ordered prawn sandwich came on the cheapest white bread ever which was soggy from the prawns unable to eat bread ordered coffee that didn't arrive until late into meal should have told them to keep it charged 8 euro for a very small cup service was terrible and staff very unfriendly you git the impression they had fallen out with each other such was the vibe ding dong bell going off all the time which was right beside the clattering of dishes that were being stacked rather loudly was annoying My young Daughters meal she told us later was not very nice she said it was very oily kids meal burger found this place to be expensive another review said Americans not welcome looks like Irish not welcome either

16/02/2025: After a long day in the car, we needed good food, quick! Stopped in on a sunday night. Wife had seafood pie that she loved-basically mashed potatoes with fish! I went Traditional-fish and chips but was not disappointed. Had a Guiness and a Kinnegar to mix it up. Perfect for us. Very nice crew!
