Lana Tralee Asian Street Food
Tralee
15/07/2025: Got the food very quickly - too quickly as clearly just re-heated. No flavour, all the dishes were greasy and tasteless. The rice was dry on top, also clearly not freshly prepared. Very surprised that this place had such good reviews.
19/06/2025: Everything was delicious! A very cozy place with excellent service.

The Lakeside Bistro
Killarney
25/08/2025: Loved both the Lake Hotel and Lakeside Bistro. The location provides amazing views of Killarney mountains and lakes! Service staff was amazing! We had some jet lag the found us awake at midnight. The serving crew, cleaning up the day’s service stopped to makes us a fresh coffee and real cream tray to take back to our room! The food was great and the bar atmosphere was cozy. Only wish the actual bar, itself, held more seats. The room was spacious with great views! Highly recommend it!!
05/07/2025: Really enjoyed our meal. Everything was plated well and was delicious. Dessert was impressive. My wife ordered the tiramisu and I had the pannacotta. Highly recommend both. And you can’t beat the view!

Ballyroe Heights Hotel
22/09/2025: Good food in a nice environment. Staff are friendly. Great views if you get the weather
15/09/2025: Great location, see photos for breakfast (continental/Irish version). The buffet wasn't worth photographing. No fresh fruit, no smoothies, no beans, mushrooms, or hagfish, let alone croissants or sweet treats...
We've had a different experience in Ireland so far.

Mountain View B&B
27/06/2025: I fell in love, here you can really breathe the air of the Irish countryside. A pearl immersed in the greenery, surrounded by horses, cows and sheep. A quiet place and cared for in the smallest details.
The owner was really kind and friendly, she was kind enough to advise us on the best tour to do to visit the area and she recommended excellent restaurants with typical cuisine.
If you have to stop in the area, you will definitely not regret staying at Mountain view.
23/06/2025: Good choice. Friendly owner, perfect location.

NorthSouth
Tralee
25/08/2025: Good food, generous portions, and fair prices. Highly recommended.
19/08/2025: Ordered a full irish breakfast and was impressed, large amount of food and good quality ingredients. The menu has a good selection of food and drink etc while maintaining a child friendly environment. The restaurant lacked in cleanliness, the seats had food swiped onto them from staff. Overall id reccomend but the cleaning situation needs to be improved however could have been a busy time for them.

The Mad Monk
Killarney
07/08/2025: Arrived at 1:15 and had the place to ourselves. Best oysters we have had in Ireland, and that's high praise. Food was delicious, our server, John, was excellent, and cannot recommend highly enough.
05/08/2025: Absolutely terrific service and fabulous food. Good value too. Don't miss a meal here when visiting Killarney. The fish is first class and so fresh.

Killarney Court Hotel
Killarney
16/10/2025: Nice place friendly staff and good food
07/09/2025: I would not recommend staying at this hotel. The bed was very uncomfortable and the “double” bed was two twins pushed together. The staff was very unfriendly as well.

The Old Anchor
Annascaul
04/09/2025: Stop in after walking the Dingle Way and it was a very nice place. The owner greeted me and was really nice and helpful. The room had everything you needed. There was a bathroom in the room, the WiFi was fast, and the room and entire hotel was very clean. Felt very welcomed and would stay again.
09/08/2025: Beautiful bnb in the town that gave us one of the greatest arctic explorers the world has ever seen, Tom Crean (awesome hiking audiobook btw). Great accommodation. The full Irish was to die for. Brian even went the extra mile to deliver an item I had left behind to the next bnb in our Dingle Way adventure. Thanks Brian, I’ll be back.

The Black Sheep Hostel & Coffee Shack
Killarney
24/08/2025: The best place for drinking coffee in Killarney
I recommend all people who will stay in Killarney visit this place ☕️🇮🇪
20/08/2025: A beautifully furnished, cozy hostel with a great atmosphere! My girlfriend and I were warmly welcomed, first by the four-legged friends, then by the two-legged ones :) There's a kitchen with some ingredients, like spices and even pasta, that you can use for free. Breakfast, with homemade bread and eggs from the chickens in the garden, is also included!
Everyone I met there—staff and guests alike—was friendly and contributed to a nice atmosphere—it was almost like a big shared apartment :) If I'm in Killarney again, I'd love to come back to the Black Sheep Hostel!
