Don't know what the rave is about , the food is fresh but lacking the effort . The chips are pre bought frozen in the packet , it's middle of the road food to be fair . Oh and please avoid the smithwicks couldn't believe how bad the pint was I had to send it back .

Lovely meal. Friendly staff. Warm welcome. Great wine. Not too pricey and would definitely recommend. Nice veggie option instead of the vegan burger fare offered elsewhere.

Don’t sleep on this! We stayed the night here (absolutely would stay again), but the food! Might be best in Dingle!

02/07/2026: We ate fish and chips there! 🔝 €19.50 for a large portion!
01/07/2026: Looks very pretty and has a decent menu though 19.50 for a fish and chips seems a tad much , but then it is dingle. Staff were helpful and friendly and the fish was delicious, the chips were okay , homemade and nice to start but kind of lost the appeal as I ate and I ended up throwing the last half out. The old irish style serving with newspaper is a nice touch , though modernised for health and safety id assume.

The Boatyard Restaurant

12/06/2026: Travelled to dingle with family visiting from Canada and had a lovely family dinner here. Gavin and the rest of the staff made us feel welcome and the food was great! Would definitely return!
