29/05/2026: Had coffee and toasted chicken sandwich and had upset stomach. The staff were not even bothered to clean the leftovers which were already in the table

27/05/2026: Lovely black bean quesadillas, great coffee. Healthy kids options and kids play area at the back.

10/06/2026: Had the misfortune of booking this hotel for one night as we were passing through . Both me and my girlfriend have been to the doctors twice since we got home due to the pest bites we have all over our body what appears to be 4 start hotel is a nightmare they need to remove all beds and bedding . In all my 45 years I have never gotten any bites on my legs as bad as this . I’m in the process of filing a claim and reporting them to the health service it’s a bloody disgrace .

07/06/2026: Nice bright rooms. Great Irish Breakfast and over all very comfortable. Good value for the $$. Only downside is it’s a 20 minute walk to town centre.

26/04/2026: Normal McDonald's, the food is as you would expect but the staff here are really lovely and nice.

26/04/2026: Got a takeaway 20 spicy nuggets, a wrap, and burger. When i got home they gave me the wrong nuggets, but still charged me for the spicy ones. This place is good, but often gets the orders wrong, makes sure to check your order before leaving.

18/05/2026: Great spot to stay for those wanting to explore the ring of Kerry! The rooms are extremely comfortable and clean, not to mention spacious. The staff were all very kind and accommodating and having the breakfast each morning was such a nice perk (not to mention yummy). Definitely recommend booking it so it’s included! No parking directly at the hotel, but all the street parking spots are free. And although it says a 2 hr. limit everywhere that isn’t enforced - so you can leave your car worry free.

19/04/2026: We order some chicken wings and burgers occasionally after some trips or something. Usually the food is freshly made especially if they recognize us as regulars. Today my fiance got some disgraceful chicken wings which were half wings, he got 18 instead of 20 and some messy burgers, not the first time. Are you serious? Are those even wings??? not to mention the burger dressing... Garbage... Ps. My fiance didn't check the food because he trusted them, only saw what he got at home.

12/04/2026: Betrayed by Google reviews. Ordered a doner kebab. The lamb was very low quality. I had tiny bits of bone in every bite. Couldn't finish as it was so off putting. Flavour was ok, shame

15/05/2026: It's a Supermacs. They rarely, if ever, disappoint. There's not a foreigner I know who doesn't go home with Supermacs on their list of things about Ireland that will forever live in their hearts. I'm only slightly exaggerating.

03/06/2026: Pizza was amazing! The chili oil pairs so nicely if you like a little spice! Service was so great aswell. Lovely staff and great pizza, what more can you ask for!!?

20/05/2026: We had a lovely birthday meal. Thank you yental for taking our reservation on such short notice. Charlie was fantastic looking after us. Definitely recommend the American hot and meatballs. Great wine selection and desserts too. Will definitely return next time in Killarney!

04/06/2026: On the 24th April, I had went with family to have there somosa chaat, the samosas were still frozen in the inside and wasn't thawed out properly and it was all covered in too much yogurt to mask it. We left upset, knowing we didn't celebrate properly and it was a waste Today 4th June, I went with friends to give it another chance, and tried there Arabic shawarma, it was full of chicken and potatoes only that made my stomach hurt. Staff were too occupied and I didn't have the time to find the manager as I felt too sick and went home quickly I hope to get some refund or credit, especially now that I have the receipt and proof of purchase on my phone when I had the other meal on April.

23/05/2026: Very pleasant restaurant, great space, the food was truly amazing, very tasty, and the service was also very good. I definitely recommend the wonderful food. I want to go back to try other incredible dishes I saw on the menu.

15/04/2026: While on holiday in Killarney, we had lunch there as a family before catching our train (it's located very close to the station). An affordable restaurant, delicious fish and chips, quick service, and a great playlist. We highly recommend it!

29/03/2026: We had the most incredible two-night stay at Carrig Country House and can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the setting completely won us over — right on the lake with breathtaking views that make it so easy to unwind and switch off. The house itself is full of charm and character, with a warm, cosy atmosphere that feels truly special. Being invited for coffee and homemade cake with biscuits after checking in is a great touch. We were lucky enough to stay in the Presidential Suite, which made the experience even more memorable. The space, comfort, and stunning views were exceptional — it felt like a real treat and the perfect place to relax. What really sets Carrig apart, though, is the hospitality. The team are genuinely welcoming, attentive, and thoughtful, creating a stay that feels personal and effortless. The dining experience was a real highlight. Being welcomed into a cosy sitting room to relax and discuss the menu before being called through to dinner is such a charming, old-world touch — it made each evening feel special. The food itself was outstanding from start to finish, with top-quality ingredients and beautifully presented dishes. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with incredible food, beautiful surroundings, and truly warm hospitality, this place is a gem. Thank you to Claire, Kevin and the team for everything.
