22/12/2024: Bruno is a wonderful cafe with new owners who are incredibly polite, friendly, and kind. They are always happy to recommend the best options from the menu. The atmosphere feels very cozy and homey, and the food is absolutely delicious. The menu features a variety of baked goods filled with cheese, mushrooms, and meat, as well as an impressive selection of desserts. From Eastern treats like baklava to a wide assortment of cakes, pancakes, and more, there’s something for everyone. The expanded menu is a true delight. The coffee is delightful and pairs perfectly with their pastries. I tried a cheese-filled pastry, and it was absolutely lovely. The owners create such a warm and inviting space, making this cafe a quiet and wonderful place to enjoy a tasty meal. Highly recommended!

08/05/2025: Booked a night at his hotel for 161 which said breakfast included. Got there only to be told by the reciptionist(who mentioned it before me) that breakfast wasn't included an it was typo. Terrible price for a hotel on the outskirts of the town an horrendous for a hotel to backtrack on they're word. Stay away at all costs

08/05/2025: Unfortunately the place was very dirty, it smelled really bad, glasses were not washed properly, they were sticky with spots on them, a menu was stained. Staff members were trying their best… It was hard to force ourselves to eat, we barely touched our meals. It was our second time in this cafe, first time it was pretty much the same but a little bit cleaner.

11/05/2025: AWFUL - NO SLEEP! The rooms are mouldy, falling apart as shown in the photos on my review. Really disgusting. Worst of all there is a bar which has live music and there is ZERO sound insulation. It went on until 1am and was extremely loud. Impossible to sleep even with earplugs! The food was also pretty disgusting (even by pub food standards), tasted like frozen burgers that had been reheated, and microwave curries. Don't make the same mistake we did!

26/04/2025: Stayed for 2 nights, b&b and evening meal. Wonderful time, staff were very friendly, room was immaculate and very comfortable, breakfast was really nice, evening meal was good, no real complaints except that the bar closed at 11.30 and there was no residents bar, as a nite owl this was a bit disappointing. Overall great experience, would highly recommend. *****

29/05/2025: This used to be my favourite place for brunch or lunch. Having not been there for a while, I noticed a decline in food, staff and cleanliness. I think a re vamp is needed to bring this back up to how it was a few years ago.

17/12/2024: The photos of this restaurant do not do it justice. It is in a beautiful, scenic situation. The interior is beautifully laid out and the decor reflects it's origins perfectly. I can imagine eating here in the height of summer would be lovely. If the presentation of the food was less pretentious and by that I refer to the horrible presentation of the fish and chips, the oblong plates and tiny 'casserole' pots it would definitely be somewhere I would return. The food was okay but the chips were disappointing, frozen fries, not good for the price paid.

28/05/2025: The staff were very attentive and prompt, the premises were tidy and clean and the bowling was great craic, our family loved it 😁

22/04/2025: Such a good experience, I got rolled and bowled by some employees bcz they were short bowling balls, my dog loved it too and ate all the most delicious food. My dog is dead and he said it was worth it. Overall would recommend going here (joke bowling buddies is a great place though)

27/05/2025: We had my mams birthday dinner here recently, it was so nice they brought her dessert out with a candle! The servers were so friendly, the food portions were huge. It was a very relaxed setting. Really recommend.
