03/10/2025: Wow. The staff here are just amazing, very thoughtful, caring, and professional. They should be highly commended. The food is just exceptional. I did not stay here but I had dinner here and I am blown away. I will definitely return to Ballygarry. 5 star effortlessly.

13/09/2026: We ordered a kebab and a pizza here. The kebab was simply breaded, sliced ​​chicken breast and a generous amount of lettuce mixed with a spicy garlic sauce, wrapped in lavash. All the sauce was on the bottom (when I took the first bite, I thought they'd forgotten about the sauce), and everything was floating and leaking out the front and back of the kebab. The pizza was okay, but definitely too much cheese; you definitely don't get that in Italy. The chair I was sitting on turned out to be greasy. The decor was like any other fast food joint. It's fair to say that we got our meals quickly.

02/09/2026: We loved this pizza- it was wonderful And the service was great! They even made me a small size salad that was delicious! Having just moved to the area this will be my “go to” place for all things pizza!!! Looking forward to trying their other offerings as well.

09/06/2026: I didn’t stay here but the staff helped me out with a problem I had for 3 days while in town. Offered me a choice of coffee for free, and a lovely lobby to wait in. The management here is top notch.

04/06/2026: Such a beautiful hotel and welcoming staff. We have a guide dog and they had a fluffy bed for him. The breakfast is delicious and you cannot beat a better location in Kenmare!

04/07/2026: For my taste, it was fun. If someone could explain what's going on, it could be a lot of fun. I recommend giving it a try.

02/06/2026: We had a really positive experience at the Kerry Coast Hotel, and would definitely go back there for a stay. We only stayed one night, and got quite lucky as we had booked the stay for May holiday weekend, and as it turned out, there was a Folk Festival going on that weekend and there were live bands all over town but also at the pub of the hotel, which was lovely and loads of fun. We were completely shocked at how quiet it was in the rooms. The pub (and live music) was right next to the hotel with the rooms but we could barely hear anything when we went to the room, which was really lovely because we were quite tired after a long day of adventures in Kerry and the folk festival right after dinner. Dinner was nice and there were quite a few options. We ate in the pub and they even had a vegan option for me, which was wonderful and very handy, because we didn’t have to search the whole town to find something for me to enjoy as well. Same goes for breakfast. I had asked the day we arrived if there is a possibility for me to get a vegan breakfast in the morning and they accommodated me with no problem. We'd like to give a huge shoutout to Geraldine, who welcomed us and who made sure I was looked after when it came to having vegan food. She was absolutely brilliant and so sweet. She even remembered a brief conversation we had on a very busy night for her because of the festival, where I had told her that this trip was a surprise trip for my birthday, which was coming up on the Monday after the weekend. She surprised me after breakfast with a slice of cake and a candle in it, which was so unexpected because I had completely forgotten about our conversation about that. It made me so happy and was such a sweet gesture. She was a wonderful host and made us feel super welcome and looked after. The rooms were clean and the bed, covers, and pillows were super comfortable. We are looking forward to coming back, and have even recommended the place to family and friends.

24/08/2026: Fantastic place right in the heart of Killarney. Spotlessly clean, spacious rooms and friendly staff. The bar is a happy blend of traditional and modern and would appeal to all age groups. Highly recommended 👌

No food available: but other places in killarney near by for food drinks shopping Gleneagle near by : taxis Definitely recommend getting taxi numbers from locals: it can be gard grabbing taxis with concerts on+ the killarney races.

17/08/2026: Lovely experience over there, the Golf club is surrounded by water and hills , the lush green atmosphere was really amazing.

13/08/2026: I stayed at the on course holiday cottages. I walked the course, but did not play it. Very hilly, a buggy is a must. Most of the tee shots are challenging, with sloped / narrow fairways. Several blind shots. The scenery across Kenmare Bay is spectacular.
