The best restaurants in Kerry

27/04/2025: Situado en el centro de killarney. Parece cualquier otro pub / restaurante desde el exterior, pero es el interior lo que lo distingue. Estábamos buscando un almuerzo ligero y nos quedamos impresionados con la elección que se ofrece. Dos miembros serviciales del personal de guardia que nos atendieron muy bien. excelente comida y dri nk que tenía un precio razonable. Volveré.

19/04/2025: First up, brilliant background music! Which was only topped by the food. Overall very comfy atmosphere, just what you want after running through the rain for the past hour.

14/04/2025: Great breakfast, highly recommend. Will go again when next in Killarney

08/05/2025: The bar was really a restaurant 1st and a bar 2nd we went in to watch the champions league which was on every television thankfully. The atmosphere was non existant asthe restaurant was finished and most of the patrons had left. I sippose 3.20 for a coke and 6.50 for a Heineken is pretty standard for an up market bar in Kenmare.

08/05/2025: Lovely and attentive staff. Lovely Guinness and the pizza was fresh and delicious. Outdoor seating was comfortable and clean. Great value for a sunshine pint and a bite to eat.

25/03/2025: Amazing Hotel with wonderful staff. We celebrated my birthday in Dingle and Caroline was so sweet to sing me Happy Birthday at breakfast. The food was fantastic and being able to walk out the front door looking at the coast and have prime location to pubs and restaurants was fantastic. Highly recommend staying here if you are traveling to Dingle. PS go hold a baby lamb if you can!

14/03/2025: On a 6 night trip to this part of Ireland and Sherwood's didn't reach the standard of all other eateries we stopped at. The seafood chowder was disapppinting as it was more thin sauce/soup than other chowders I've eaten and lacked the creaminess. The quantity of seafood was not plentiful. The minute steak was quite chewy and was not the flattened thin steak that we expected. The staff members were not impolite but also weren't the friendly chatty folks we'd come across everywhere else. The table next to us sent a dish back as it was cold. Overall, a disappointing experience.

15/12/2024: Food is proper and tasty. The burgermear is proper beef (you can almost taste the cow) and the chips are chunky and homemade. The turkey and ham dinner was divine, smokey, yet not overwhelming. Highly recommended rather than going into town

14/04/2025: not a golf player, but stumbled across this golf pitch. in spring, you'll find gorgeous bluebells under trees. most of the field is strewn with wildflowers! i'll count it a great place to relax in kenmare:)

20/05/2025: If you arrive in the town of Dingle past 8 PM, this is your best bet at getting any sort of food. We were turned away by multiple restaurants, and most pubs are stopping food service at this time. Ordered us some 9 inch personal pizzas and we were golden, they were delicious and had a perfect thin crust!

11/05/2025: Good quality food. It definitely worth a visit if you like Chinese.

10/05/2025: We were disappointed. Everything looks nice and the staff are nice but the food seriously lacks flavour. If you're there for the food, try one of the many other yum cha restaurants across London. This restaurant was less than half full at 1pm on a Saturday.

13/05/2025: Extremely lovely hotel! Super close to the center of town (walking distance) but far enough away to be quiet. The only drawback is that there is no A/C in the rooms, so it can get a little warm at night. Other than that, a wonderful 2 night stay here!!

15/03/2025: A luxury hotel missing some luxury. Like hot water. After a day of hiking 10 miles thru the Gap of Dunloe, my wife and I were looking forward to a hot bath/shower. Bath water was a dark yellow and luke warm at best. The shower the next morning went from luke warm to cold. Stopped by the front desk to make mention of it. I overheard maintenance tell the supervisor "I don't know what they're complaining about, this is the temp". The supervisor then proceeded to tell me that this is the temp and it's hot. Uhmm, not it's not. I don't appreciate the gaslighting. Front desk people were delightful, if not for them this hotel would get a 1 star. We checked out and are staying at the Cahernane up the road where they have hot water that is actually adjustable.

16/03/2025: Lovely restaurant . Delicious food and a friendly atmosphere. Just one little thing , the place is a bit cold. Turn up the heat and light the stove. Then I would give 5 stars

19/05/2025: Whole tail scampi??? Thats a tip of a tail at best, misguiding customer's with that title, if your gonna sell bought in breaded prawns and charge 19 euros at least state it in the menu. Scammed by scampi Service was good, beer was nice and cold but that scampi was a joke.

08/05/2025: Lovey reastraunt & coffee shop. Lovely menu & veelry reasonably priced. From coffee to full lunches. Lovey seating indoor n outdoor. Old fashioned outdoor area is very nice.

11/04/2025: Went here during the week, lovely coffee and lovely breakfast. Would really recommend! I had the breakfast bap and my friend had bacon pancakes 🥞

13/05/2025: Friendly staff. The cave can be visited in about 30 minutes and you can download an audio guide on your phone in the language of your choice. An enchanting place.
