20/09/2024: We got there 9ish they close at 10. Took 15 minutes to order. They were busy with a lot of pick up orders. I got a cheeseburger. My husband said “ maybe you shouldn’t. Everybody is ordering chicken. “ I should have listened. 🙄 my burger was awful and tiny. Fries were good with gravy. Chicken tenders hubby said were good. Ate what I could and we left.
11/09/2024: Love the chicken her, it's so fresh & always hot, had the chicken pieces which was a huge potion, won't walk away hungry, only gripe is that it was a chilly day & they leave the door open

26/10/2024: Don’t waste your time. We picked this bar after seeing the “4.5 star reviews” but not sure how it received such raving reviews after our experience. The bartender with a tarantula t-shirt was a completely “cheeky” and very unwelcoming; us being there seemed to have inconvenienced her. Every beer we asked for either was out or tap wasn’t working. After two beers weren’t available, we asked for an Irish coffee and she couldn’t be bothered to make it, even though the bar was dead. Her unfriendliness drove us away. Don’t waste your time, the place is littered with so many pubs with bartenders who don’t hate their life.

Good choice if you want a hearty breakfast.
The staff is friendly and you are served promptly.
The food and coffee are of good quality and the prices are okay.
There is a star deduction because of the toilets.
They could use a little more hygiene.
26/08/2024: A small place where we enjoyed good coffee and delicious biscuits. There were also some beautiful cakes with a very inviting look!

14/10/2024: Ordered margarita pizza. Smelled like gone off milk, most likely the cheese has lived its age. Quite surprising how a person who specialises in cooking and preparing food can not smell that it’s gone off. Irish standarts.

29/09/2024: Honestly the best Chinese takeout in Tralee. Has never disappointed, very big and generous portions, the spice bag and spice boxes are packed with chicken, bursting at the seems. So good and always piping hot. Prices are very decent. I would 100% recommend. The satay sauce is to die for. Staff are always lovely. Have been here 10+ times and will continue coming :) Keep up the good food and don't change a thing! 5 stars.

The owner was very nice and we were lucky enough to have a sumptuous dinner.

27/09/2024: We were on a driving tour of Ireland with friends and were staying for two nights at the Lake Hotel. We chose to eat at Herbert's as it was close to the hotel and had good reviews. Service was very attentive and the provision of little extras such as a appetizer were a nice touch. Food was beautifully presented and quite tasty although portions particularly the starters were small. Overall a nice dinner but it was a little overpriced.

Cadre, accueil, prestations, restaurant, effet waouh garanti si vous aimez le charme Irish délicieusement désuet mais tellement classe.
Si vous n’aimiez pas vous aimerez… on est transporté dans un autre temps mais avec tout le confort moderne.
Réellement félicitations à toute l’équipe.
J’oubliais le restaurant.
Un peu cher mais tellement bon et fin.
Vraiment zéro défaut.

05/10/2024: A simple, simple, but very clean restaurant. The service was friendly. The menu is small but nice. Fish dishes predominate here. We had the rainbow trout fillet and the pork chop. Both very, very good. Gladly again.
01/10/2024: During a Ring of Kerry tour we stopped to eat at this restaurant. It was the first time I ate oysters and the combination with a good Guinness was very successful. Pleasant place and friendly managers. Recommended 👍
