03/10/2025: We recently had dinner at the Stables Brasserie and it was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, the manager was welcoming, the service was attentive and professional, and the quality of the food and wine was absolutely outstanding. The atmosphere, the presentation, and the care that went into every detail really made the evening feel special.

29/09/2025: Brought 2 Spanish friends to this restaurant for Sunday lunch but left extremely dissapointed. Atmosphere was sad, food was below average and certainly not near the level for the prices charged. The hotel is spectacular but this restaurant is not good enough.

04/04/2026: Very disappointing experience overall. Ordering was frustrating – the staff member seemed to struggle to understand simple requests. Delivery time was quoted 40–50 minutes which felt quite long. When the food arrived, nothing was prepared as expected. Everything was packed separately (noodles, meat, sauces), with no cutlery, chopsticks, or even napkins provided unless specifically requested – which is not ideal for a delivery. Food itself was bland and lacked flavour. I would rate it around 4/10 at best. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t order again and wouldn’t recommend unless you have no other option.

28/05/2026: Good service. Overly buttery/oily fish for my taste. Other restaurants on property were better. Servers sat next your table constantly planning out their expo/service/plate numbers fine not great overall.

20/04/2026: Had a great experience here. Servers were pleasant and personable, and clearly understood their menu. Food itself was excellent! The portion sizes worked well, I left feeling full but not bloated. View was also great. Can definitely see us going back!

13/04/2026: LOVE IT. Lovely menu of delicious and freshly prepared Chinese food. Staff very friendly and attentive. Plenty of free parking right outside the door. They gave me my leftovers in a box, and I enjoyed it next day Note: restaurant is on the first floor. I didn't see a lift but maybe phone first to find out.

17/03/2026: Good experience at Pagoda. Great food with some great service! Ordered crispy chicken wings, fried noodles and rice. All were delicious and served with right portions.

25/07/2025: Food was good, but the portions rather small. The desert was a joke, we ordered the crumble and it was completely soggy and a tiny piece - absolutely not worth it. Service was good.

24/07/2025: Husband and I chose this pub while visiting Killarney. We love authentic Irish food so this place really hit the spot. When we walked in, we were told that they didn’t have any tables left and they were completely full. There were a couple seats at the bar thankfully so we asked if we could sit there and eat, she said yes. The two young guys behind the bar gave us some drinks quickly, waitress took our food order a few minutes later. We decided to share the mini potato cakes (€8.95), which were pretty much mashed potatoes mixed with chicken and bacon, and then covered in bread crumbs and fried. It was covered in a mushroom creme sauce which was really good, with a small salad on the side (if you can call it that, it was really a couple pieces of lettuce, a single grape tomato and a drizzle of dressing) My husband got the fish and chips (€17.70) which honestly was probably the best fish and chips he’s had so far during our trip. I was a little jealous of his food after I tried some of his. The fish was almost melt-in-your-mouth quality. Soooo good. I would go back just to eat that fish again. I got the spinach and ricotta ravioli (€20.95) which came with a tomato and basil crème sauce, some garlic bread, and a handful of arugula on top. The pasta itself tasted good (jealous of the fish!) but the garlic bread was so crispy (not burnt) that it was almost too hard to chew. The dish would have been fine without the ‘salad garnish’. The only thing I would point out is that obviously the pub is very busy, and it didn’t look like they had an ample amount of seating, but they must have turned away at least 20-30 people because the back of the pub was closed (due to a large party maybe?) and they just couldn’t find a place for those people to sit. So I guess we got there at just the right time? Whatever - I would still go back JUST for the fish and chips ❤️

17/05/2026: I chose The Imperial Hotel because it is a favorite venue of mine to meet friends for coffee and lunch. The interior is really nice and the staff are always amazing. My recent meetup group event exceeded expectations thanks to a young member of staff named Aaron (Bar and Restaurant) Having a professional background in tourism and having worked as a duty manager myself, I understand what it takes to provide seamless service. I really appreciate the massive difference that a genuine personal touch makes to the guest experience. Aaron met us upon arrival and was absolutely exceptional and very capable. He took everything in his stride, managing our group effortlessly and providing a level of service that thoroughly impressed everyone in attendance. Because of the fantastic experience we had with the area provided for our coffee event and the personal service both Aaron and the girls delivered, my group has already requested that we return to The Imperial again soon. 02/07/2025: The separate vegan menu is so nice to have. I actually asked the server if the menu was vegetarian, because the options seemed too good to be vegan. It is still limited to 2 main dishes, 2 starters, and 2 desserts. However, that is more options than you'd find in most places. I had the Halloumi Arranccini balls, the pasta (good and spicy topped with yogourt), and the brownie with raspberry sorbet. The brownie wasn't worth it, but the rest was fantastic. The price is a bit high in my opinion for what I got. It was a nice night out for sure.
