04/10/2026: We are regulars who love Rainbow, and after another fab meal, thought it was time to sing their praises 🩷 Food from this Chinese takeaway is always fabulous! Everything we order is always super tasty, hot and fresh. The service is always friendly and orders ready v quickly, even at their busy times.. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed! 🙂

29/09/2026: Insect legs in curry, never again

04/10/2026: Coming in as a local you understand when it’s busy you’ll be waiting but last two times I’ve ordered online I’ve been waiting over 40 minutes. Today I ordered online and was told 10 minutes but gave it 15/20 mins to collect. When we went into collect all staff standing around except for one young girl. No food made only started as we came in. Management needs to do their job because the other manager that’s in their most the time is great with making sure the staff are on top of it but whatever woman manager that was in there today needs to check her staff.

24/09/2026: Have to say Home cut chips were great. Garlic mushrooms were super and huge portion. But chicken tenders were terrible more like 5 chiicken nuggets small and batter was pasty. Avoid if possible. You can do better guys..

29/10/2026: When we walked in today, we were expecting nice customer service. We asked for 3 bottles of water - for a table of 4, for spicy food , in which Emandel replied, no your only getting one. He dropped down the bottle of water, and we asked for another in which he ignored us. I confronted him about it, and he said that I had to give a second. The PLACE WAS NOT BUSY!! I work in hospitality, it was not busy. He was dressed very unprofessional & unhygienic.

29/10/2026: Extremely disappointing experience at Lana Killarney. We are huge fans of Lana and have always enjoyed going there, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, the customer service we received was absolutely disgraceful. Firstly, we had to wait 10 minutes to be seated despite the restaurant NOT being busy. When we were seated, we politely asked for three bottles of water, as we normally go through water quickly, especially when dining at Lana. We were told no, and only one jug was brought to our table. As expected, we went through the water quickly. My friend politely asked the man working for another jug, but he completely ignored him. When my friend tried asking again, the man responded with, “Can’t you see I’m busy?” The way he spoke to my friend was completely unnecessary, especially considering how politely we had asked and how quiet the restaurant was. We were left waiting approximately another 15 minutes for the water, by which point we had practically finished our food. Throughout this interaction, both myself and my other friend felt extremely uncomfortable and disrespected. We were simply asking for water, yet we were made to feel as though we were being unreasonable for asking for something so basic. To make matters even worse, the man told my friend that if he ever came back to Lana, he would not serve him again. He also told my friend to learn manners, which was honestly shocking considering the way he had spoken to us in the first place. We also found the situation unprofessional, as the man serving us was wearing a jumper rather than what we would have expected to be staff uniform. Nobody expects special treatment when dining out, but basic politeness and respect should be a given. No customer should be made to feel uncomfortable for politely asking for water, and threatening to refuse service to someone over such a minor request is completely unacceptable. What makes this experience particularly upsetting is that we genuinely LOVE Lana and have always been huge fans. We came in expecting the usual enjoyable experience, but instead left feeling uncomfortable, disrespected and extremely disappointed. Good food is one thing, but customer service matters just as much. Unfortunately, this experience has seriously changed our opinion of Lana Killarney. We sincerely hope management addresses this behaviour, because no customer deserves to be treated this way.

09/05/2026: Kebab meal ,kebab was very good but the chips were dried out & not hot there for a while not good as usually the chips are very good I phoned too tell them they weren't interested.

17/08/2026: We came here and ordered starters only as they sounded amazing. And they were amazing. The chef brought it all to our table and presented it nicely. He was really friendly! We spent a lovely evening there :)

17/08/2026: It was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I have a very positive impression. First and foremost, the staff is extremely friendly, and it's clear that despite being very busy and working hard, customer satisfaction is a top priority for them. The interior decor is lovely, and everything is very well-maintained. However, the absolute highlight of the meal was the vegetarian kebab. It was a phenomenal dish, beautifully presented. I really regret not taking a picture. It's probably the best vegetarian dish I've ever had in a restaurant in Ireland. The vegetarian kebab was on the specials menu, but I genuinely hope it makes it into their permanent selection. I don't live in Tralee, but I would gladly visit this restaurant again just for this dish. Highly recommended!

20/04/2026: I didn’t actually stay here, but would’ve loved to. I will say the pub atmosphere was truly wonderful with stories, music from local performers, and a true sense of community. The food was also delicious.

23/09/2026: ⭐☆☆☆☆ Absolutely shocking experience at Tasty Bites in Castleisland tonight. I found a rib in my food, which is completely unacceptable and left me very disappointed. You expect proper food quality when you pay for a meal, not to find something like this in your food. This has put me off ordering from here again. The staff need to take more care with food preparation and quality control. Very poor experience overall.

28/08/2026: Shite kebab . So dry wasted my money best kebab will be chicken club in castleisland. Hands down wanted to try the kebab here but literally wasted my money as you can see on picture

11/08/2026: We ordered a small wedding cake at reasonably short notice but Gary was more than helpful with ideas and suggestions of the best size and design to suit the occasion. He even delivered it himself as he was concerned how well it'd travel given the heatwave we were having. We were delighted with how the cake turned out and it was delicious, thanks Gary!

14/09/2026: Just called in for much needed refreshments of tea and coffee. Great service and tasty drinks. In for food today, delicious. You will not be disappointed. Very easy recommend

06/10/2026: Went in this morning for chicken roll.. The roll presentation was hideous, and the taste of the southern fried chicken was actually disgusting and dry... Never be goen there again

08/08/2026: We had a lovely experience. The food was delicious, coffee and hot chocolate were gorgeous and the service and atmosphere were perfect. Added bonus being very good value. Would highly recommend.

21/07/2026: Waited my whole lunch break for a sandwich. Did not receive the sandwich. Waited over 40 minutes for a simple toasted sandwich on a relatively quiet day with lots of empty tables. Wont be returning
