23/07/2025: It was quite at lunchtime but we were very happy with our Pan seared 6oz Steak Sandwich with tender sirloin, sautéed Mushrooms & onions, toasted Ciabatta bread salad & house fries This was why we came to Killarney and we weren't disappointed. Really nice steak sandwich. Friendly staff. Good honest steak speaks for itself. I recommend it, when in Killarney give it a try.

18/07/2025: Food was SO tasty! Lovely staff. Really glad we found this place. Everywhere seemed expensive in Killarney - this place was reasonable for the excellent quality. Highly recommend the beef stroganoff and the homemade bread was delicious.

09/08/2025: Food is lovely. Honestly it's very difficult to find a halal menu that also serves curry 🍛 all the way out here! Staff service is lovely and kind.

24/07/2025: We we're limited to takeaway in the evening's as we had a todler on holiday with us that was asleep by 7, we tried 3 or 4 "tourist trap" places in the town before finding the Chinese...... the Chinese was by far and away the best of the lot in every way, spotless clean, reasonably priced, large portions and tasty, highly recommended

28/07/2025: Attended Lana killarney Food was not at all close to the usual Lana standards, quality was not great, bought 4 dishes and all the same, would not recommend this to anyone else

24/07/2025: I’ve been going to Lana for ages. The food is great, but the service—especially from one short waitress with black hair—is getting worse. Today, my food sat on the counter for almost 10 minutes. She looked right at it, looked at our table, and just ignored it. I calmly asked about it and she got rude and argumentative right in front of everyone. The food came out cold, she spilled sauce on the table, threw the cutlery down, and walked away—no apology at all. It was embarrassing, and other people around us were even talking about it. This isn’t a one-off. I’ve stood at the door waiting to be seated while she scrolls on her phone, completely ignoring me. She’s not just rude to me either—she’s rude to many customers. I’ve complained multiple times and nothing changes. It’s disappointing to keep supporting a place where basic customer service is so blatantly lacking.

25/07/2025: Food was good, but the portions rather small. The desert was a joke, we ordered the crumble and it was completely soggy and a tiny piece - absolutely not worth it. Service was good.

24/07/2025: Husband and I chose this pub while visiting Killarney. We love authentic Irish food so this place really hit the spot. When we walked in, we were told that they didn’t have any tables left and they were completely full. There were a couple seats at the bar thankfully so we asked if we could sit there and eat, she said yes. The two young guys behind the bar gave us some drinks quickly, waitress took our food order a few minutes later. We decided to share the mini potato cakes (€8.95), which were pretty much mashed potatoes mixed with chicken and bacon, and then covered in bread crumbs and fried. It was covered in a mushroom creme sauce which was really good, with a small salad on the side (if you can call it that, it was really a couple pieces of lettuce, a single grape tomato and a drizzle of dressing) My husband got the fish and chips (€17.70) which honestly was probably the best fish and chips he’s had so far during our trip. I was a little jealous of his food after I tried some of his. The fish was almost melt-in-your-mouth quality. Soooo good. I would go back just to eat that fish again. I got the spinach and ricotta ravioli (€20.95) which came with a tomato and basil crème sauce, some garlic bread, and a handful of arugula on top. The pasta itself tasted good (jealous of the fish!) but the garlic bread was so crispy (not burnt) that it was almost too hard to chew. The dish would have been fine without the ‘salad garnish’. The only thing I would point out is that obviously the pub is very busy, and it didn’t look like they had an ample amount of seating, but they must have turned away at least 20-30 people because the back of the pub was closed (due to a large party maybe?) and they just couldn’t find a place for those people to sit. So I guess we got there at just the right time? Whatever - I would still go back JUST for the fish and chips ❤️

09/07/2025: Unfortunately, the condition of the toilets left a lot to be desired. They were extremely unclean, and the overpowering stench of urine made the experience quite unpleasant. It's a real shame, as it detracts from what could otherwise be an enjoyable visit. I hope management addresses this issue promptly!

18/07/2025: Our stay at the Cliff House Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm, friendly service that set the tone for the rest of our visit. Every member of the staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. The food was a highlight—creative, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Each meal was a treat, with fresh, local ingredients and thoughtful attention to detail. Whether we were enjoying breakfast with a sea breeze or dinner as the sun set, the dining experience was top-tier. The views from the hotel are simply breathtaking. Perched right on the coast, the Cliff House offers panoramic vistas of the sea that are as calming as they are stunning. And if you’re looking to get even closer to the water, the beach is just a short, scenic walk away. All in all, the Cliff House Hotel is a perfect blend of comfort, beauty, and impeccable hospitality. We can’t wait to return.

21/07/2025: Fabulous Café, Staff are beyond Helpful & Entertaining. The Tea is out of this world, coffee is highest rating I could ever give. Food is unbelievable and so reasonably priced. Ill be back again next week.
