04/12/2025: Today we had a very upsetting experience at the café. My friend walked in while holding a drink from another coffee shop, and we honestly didn’t know it was against their policy. The moment the manager told us, we apologized and tried to explain that it was just a misunderstanding. My friend was ready to leave, and we were about to order from the café. However, the manager refused to listen and kept yelling at us, insisting that we leave the café. While we were trying to calmly discuss the situation, she didn’t want to understand or even hear our side. It felt like there was a form of discrimination towards me and my friends, which made the situation even worse. We asked to speak to the manager, and unfortunately, she turned out to be the same person who was shouting at us. She continued raising her voice in front of everyone, making the whole situation very embarrassing and uncomfortable. People in the café were staring, and it became a very humiliating moment for us. We would have appreciated a more professional and respectful approach, especially after we apologized and tried to correct the mistake immediately.

04/12/2025: My experience at this café was really disappointing. I went through a very upsetting, unprofessional and unfair way, and the manager’s behavior was completely unacceptable! Instead of listening or trying to understand what happened, she raised her voice and treated us in a way that was both embarrassing and disrespectful in front of everyone. I’ve visited this place many times before, and some of the staff even recognize me, so I truly didn’t expect this kind of treatment. Seeing how the situation was handled today was honestly ruined the visit I won’t be coming back, and I don’t recommend visiting this place at all!

09/12/2025: We recently stayed at Aghadoe Heights and while there were some highlights, the experience fell far short of five-star expectations. The location is beautiful, and we greatly appreciated the upgrade to a suite, which was very comfortable. The welcome on arrival was also warm and professional. This start had made a great first impression. Unfortunately, several elements were disappointing. The spa and pool areas are poorly laid out, located far apart, and the thermal room was cold in places. The pool area felt dated and was accessed via a spiral staircase, which was inconvenient. We were also surprised to see visible rust in the jacuzzi, which is unacceptable for a luxury spa. The bar experience was underwhelming. The atmosphere was dull and prices were high. A pint of Moretti was completely flat and undrinkable and had to be returned, with no apology or reassurance that the keg would be changed was offered, the bartender simply went back to watching the soccer on TV. A Spicy Margarita was served in a cheap glass with no presentation, which felt very below standard. We were not informed about the shuttle/concierge service to Killarney, leading to confusion after we had already ordered a taxi. Breakfast was chaotic, with poor communication between staff. Toast arrived cold and alongside drinks, and the breakfast itself was served about 20 minutes later and arrived lukewarm, with a hash brown cold in the middle. The duty manager apologise for this and did refund the breakfast, which we appreciated. While the room upgrade and refund were welcome gestures, overall this was not the five-star experience we expected.

11/10/2025: A fantastic hotel with a fantastic location in a park with a lake view. Super friendly staff and delicious food.

30/12/2025: Beautifully situated right next to the Connor Pass and 20 minutes away from Dingle but not a lot of tourists come here. We were so warmly welcomed here and had the pleasure of taking part in a music night like none other - it was like sitting in a living room among friends. Thank you so much for this night, it made our trip very special!

22/10/2025: I went in today and asked for an Americano with hot milk. FIRST, she gave me cold milk, then I politely asked for hot milk, then she gave me Oat Milk.. I said no sorry, it's " hot milk ".. she comes back with Hot Oat Milk. I had to get up again, go back to her and say SORRY IT'S AMERICANO WITH HOT MILK!!! She was too busy talking to care.. Was going to order The Full Irish after I enjoyed my Americano but since it took 7 Business Days to make a Coffee, when no one was inside there - I thought Forget It!! New Staff needed 💔

24/12/2025: Me and my family start to come to this restaurant since 2021 and we never could stop coming because everyone and the food is lovely, everything what a food lover can say. Thank you guyss🫶🏼😊

20/12/2025: Food is good but staff aren't very nice to there customers no Xmas cheer or anything if there staff could be a bit nicer we all get on fine but they don't make you feel welcome at all very disappointing

30/10/2025: I ordered for delivery through uber eats and while I understand the food wont be as good as fresh, it was very bland and not appetising at all. On top of that, because the restaurant decided to deliver themselves, they demanded I pay additional delivery charges at the door. The driver was very unfriendly, intimidating and I did not feel safe as he was demanding extra physical cash. I will not be coming back here.

26/12/2025: Everything was 5 star. Food was very tasty and service was friendly. Perfect warm food for a cold rainy night.

01/01/2026: Very Nice Cafe! Lovely fresh cake and great tasting coffee. Celiac friendly: soups, cookies & gluten free sandwiches. Dogs are allowed! Will come again! The staff could be a bit more smiling, but probably was a busy day.

30/12/2025: Served me raw pancakes with sweet chili sauce on them and wouldnt rectify. I asked at the counter if their pancakes were buttermilk pancakes. He told me they were so I ordered pancakes, bacon & syru. The pancakes were not buttermilk the were crep style. I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he just hadn't understood me and I decided I would say nothing. As I took a couple of bites I realised they were undercooked. Then I got a weird taste of garlic and spice. I realised there was a red sauce that must have been sweet chilli sauce all over my food. I went to the counter with the food and explained. He kept telling me it was for decoration. I thought he just didn't understand that the sauce wasn't a strawberry sauce and I was showing him and explaining that he had put the wrong sauce on the plate. He was quiet rude and I eventually realised he did know and had purposely put sweet chili sauce on. I explained that my pancakes now all taste spicy and garlicy and he indicated that he didn't care. I was really upset. I returned to my table with the plate of food. He followed me down with an empty plate and fresh cutlery which I could only assume he gave me to try salvage what wasn't covered in sweet chili sauce. At this point I was so upset I just got up and left. Very disappointing food and really poor way to treat people. I will definitely not be returning.

11/12/2025: My wife and I spent 5 nights here during our recent visit to Killarney. We really enjoyed the central location, ample amenities, prompt and attentive staff and the well appointed room. We would stay here again in the future.

07/12/2025: We were very pleased with our stay here. The location is great if you're wanting to stay on the entertainment district. There is an on site bar and restaurant. They provide free onsite off street parking behind the hotel. For my American friends there is no AC but the windows actually open all of the way for good ventilation. We would stay here again.

22/08/2025: We stayed here for one night and got dinner for the 5 of us. Why so much artificial stuff? We eat with our hands and even soap would not take the color off our hands. We expected the honey sauce to be sweet but the peking sauce was sweet too. At the end of the meal we felt like our tongue was coated in sugar and we ate a bunch of artificial colors.

17/08/2025: I've been there and ordered delivery several times because I love the food. I love the fried rice, chow mein and chicken curry. It's true that it seems a bit expensive to me, as in Spain (where I'm from) the dishes are half the price, but I understand that everything is a bit more expensive here, so I guess it's ok

14/10/2025: The chips were good BUT the fish was the worst fish we had ever tasted!!! It was somehow already covered in batter ready to cook and the batters had become chewy and encased the fish which looked white with no shine or life and was tasteless. I would suggest cooking fresh fish from scratch in the usual manner, if not do not buy their fish.

07/09/2025: I visited here when I was last in Ballybunion. My mam and cousin were with me. We came about 19:00 for food after the beach. Waiting 30 minutes in the queue understandably because it was the evening time. Loved the food

21/06/2025: Food was amazing, it is takeaway only but they have a little nice room that you can eat in. Very cozy and the food is amazing for a good price. We ate the 2 people pack and it was really good. Will come again!
