30/01/2026: Had the fish and chips. The food was only okay, the fish was great but the chips were only so and so. The staff were very nice, but it was raining and I nearly fell twice because of a slippery floor.

22/10/2025: I went in today and asked for an Americano with hot milk. FIRST, she gave me cold milk, then I politely asked for hot milk, then she gave me Oat Milk.. I said no sorry, it's " hot milk ".. she comes back with Hot Oat Milk. I had to get up again, go back to her and say SORRY IT'S AMERICANO WITH HOT MILK!!! She was too busy talking to care.. Was going to order The Full Irish after I enjoyed my Americano but since it took 7 Business Days to make a Coffee, when no one was inside there - I thought Forget It!! New Staff needed 💔

25/02/2026: Had a fantastic experience at Coffee Start in Tralee. We ordered the Irish breakfast, pancakes, and sandwiches, and everything was absolutely top notch. The Irish breakfast was perfectly cooked, the pancakes were delicious and fluffy, and the sandwiches were fresh and full of flavour. The ambience was warm and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff were especially friendly and offered great recommendations, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend if you're in Tralee and looking for quality food and great service. we’ll definitely be back!

01/01/2026: Very Nice Cafe! Lovely fresh cake and great tasting coffee. Celiac friendly: soups, cookies & gluten free sandwiches. Dogs are allowed! Will come again! The staff could be a bit more smiling, but probably was a busy day.

19/01/2026: Got a delivery order, that then said it was delivered and I didn’t actually get it. The restaurant was so unhelpful, I called the manager who was rude and said that this is solely a mistake on my end. Totally unprofessional.

16/08/2025: Yet another food and drink establishment that has just decided we all want to drink low fat milk, no option of full fat. Is it too much to just buy in a carton and have it as an option at least

31/05/2025: Some of the service was relatively lackluster, menus were dirty, and the restrooms and restaurant weren't particularly clean. The food was good, though. Gluten-free pizza and pasta available.

18/05/2025: We ate pasta there. Everything tasted like it was pre-made sauce with lots of garlic powder. The food wasn't good. The service was very friendly and nice, but very loud, as the dishes we ordered were constantly being called into the kitchen. The restroom was simply disgusting. It wasn't cleaned, it was incredibly dirty. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant.

29/12/2025: I must strongly say I ordered chicken wings from this takeaway and it was absolutely nasty, it was the worst chicken wings I've ever eaten, I disapprove of it and I wouldn't recommend them at all, they tasted like they were gone off, absolutely sickening stuff

25/10/2025: We had orderd food from most of the local menu on the app, we normally get the pizza but tonight we said we would try something else, I also had a burger deluxe which was OK, the donner box was a disgrace, chips where stone cold and meat colder than normal , we had a curry which was very watery!(best term I could use) the separate order of chips where also cold, goujans where dry but rest of food went to the food bin. Yes we got delivery but we are 3 minutes away in the town but I was watching the app from delivery so not sure how/why it was so cold.As regulars very dissatisfied and disappointed food has gone down.

29/07/2025: Decent cappuccino but the staff are either half trained or not trained at all and I suspect it is the latter. I had to ask for cholocate in my cappuccino and then remove the previous customer's leftovers from the table while staff watched me clean it with a wet cloth. Shocking bad service.

14/10/2025: The chips were good BUT the fish was the worst fish we had ever tasted!!! It was somehow already covered in batter ready to cook and the batters had become chewy and encased the fish which looked white with no shine or life and was tasteless. I would suggest cooking fresh fish from scratch in the usual manner, if not do not buy their fish.

07/09/2025: I visited here when I was last in Ballybunion. My mam and cousin were with me. We came about 19:00 for food after the beach. Waiting 30 minutes in the queue understandably because it was the evening time. Loved the food
